Could be worse..You could be a J-E-T'S fan.First their hated divison rivals are only one game away from the perfect season, and now their more successful neighbors are going to the SB.And that's just for starters

I'm a Jets fan and have no problem with the Giants. They're a New York team, and they're not division, or even conference rivals, so I have no problem with them. And I'm going to love watching them beat the Patriots.

Yeah well believing that is going to happen is like believing the Jets will win a Super Bowl in the next 50 years.

Brady wearing a cast? Probably just a Belicheck misdirection move.

I wonder why there hasn't been much talk in the media about the illegal leg kick Vrabel had on Rivers that caused the interception when it should have been a 15 yard penalty. How many other calls are they missing on purpose.

Yeah, I saw that too. It wasn't obvious live, but on the replay from an alternate angle Vrabel was clearly pushed away from Rivers and kicked out his leg in an attempt to trip/impede Rivers.

I've seen a couple of tripping non-calls this season so I guess it's something the Refs don't watch out for much.

Sometimes I wonder with the refs these days. That non call changed the whole game. Even the pro Pat announcers didn't pick up on it. These are supposed to be the best officials doing that game. Not the rookie crew.

I think thats how they do it. I don't know why they don't rate the crews as a whole tho. Since they work together all year.

The play is even dirtier since Rivers was playing with a bad knee to begin with.

Dirty? It's ****ing football. Let them play the game. This **** is turning in to basketball with fouls for just touching a guy. ****ing ridiculous.

BTW, let's see a video of this.

NFL.com about 3:45 in Vrabel clearly has no shot at Rivers except to kick at his right leg (the one w/the brace on it). The guys doing the VO even say Vrabel got away w/a leg whip. You might want to take your homer glasses off first 'cause I hear those impair one's vision. ;)

Leg whips are unnecessarily risky which is why they are illegal. Same reason things like horse collar tackles and chop blocks are illegal.

There's talk a brooin' about Mr. Brady's foot and how it may not necessarily be hurt. Jedi Mind Tricks from the likes of Bill and company.

Maybe in 4 years when they next meet...

Oh please. The Colts got about 4 or 5 potentially game changing calls/non-calls when the Pats played them. There's no conspiracy. The reality is that the officials just can't see everything that happens with 22 players on the field.

And to call that play game-changing is a stretch. There's no way the Patriots were losing that game. They ran out the last 9 minutes on one drive because they could run at will.
