Jets lose! Pats need to beat Buffalo next week and have the Jets beat the Dolphins at home in order to win the division.

LMFAO!!..Live by the Favre, die by the Favre..As a Pat's fan,it's always great when the Jesticles lose, esp with the Penguin at the helm. I'm in it strictly for the Schadenfreude :)

Steelers on life support, Jets numerically out of contention, Arizona dead in water after sluggish performance.

I take the Cardinals as a lost cause this year though I so wanted them as super underdog.

Steelers I still say have chance of winning Super Bowl, but MS Excel regression analysis formula, my new friend, puts them at less than 20,000 to 1 odds, so they are almost numerically out. You have a better chance of getting killed by shark, twice.

Titans have the AFC championship through statistical inference, but they can still "choke" in playoffs. Remember 15-1 Vikings? They choked. But those odds are more than 1,000,000 to 1, actually approaching 1 bil. to one. I love how odds play up but sometimes don't deliver.

The Giants have to win, and win big for my "signature" prediction to be true, as to the players in the Super Bowl. I will still have to plug and play more to get "real" odds of score.

Scatterplot analysis shows the Titans at an almost "Obama" style landslide for Super Bowl. But we will see.

I would be very surprised if the Titans make it to the Superbowl, much less win it... winning in the playoffs is a whole different season and mindset

Woof, Woof - Dawg

Falcons will win... and the are IN the playoffs

10-5
And they will likely win their 11th next week

Unbelievable

Who wudda thunk it??

Hey, neither of us may be Titans fans, but their home field advantage and routing of #16 ranked Steelers bumped down to #22 ranked offense Steelers (in yardage), put them up as the defensive team of the AFC, if not year.

Defensive injuries as not as common as offensive injuries and Titans look to sweep AFC. Week 16 and no team is within one win of them. It's too late, even for an amazing team.

Titans will have to choke like former 15-1 Vikings in playoffs, and while possible, it's not as likely because Titans got there via "defense" and not relying on an old quarterback and "one" receiver.

Love them or hate them, Titans will most likely go 14-2 in AFC. They validate my signature "prediction". Now let's see if Giants validate second half of my "signature".

Anyway, Giants v. Titans, Super Bowl, 2009 next month

If Giants lose tonight, I would think Titans will take the Super Bowl by 10 points, but I already made a "hard" prediction and I will stick to it, even if Vikings take it all the way. :)

I'm so disgusted. 0 for the West Coast this year. So we sign Favre and cut Pennington who goes to a team that was 1-15 last year and wins 10 games. Will the Namath curse never die?

Wow - the Chargers are now in control of their own destiny. Who would've thought it? Denver just keeps letting them back into the playoff picture. Next week in San Diego will be a big one!

one game playoff for the afc west next sunday. i think this could be the nbc game. i kinda felt the broncos would blow it for a while, and they did and now 8-8 could be enough for the playoffs.

I'd say that Mangini can feel the vise tightening on his nads as we speak... WFAN should be interesting tomorrow...

try 790 the ticket in miami. that's going to be much better with jets and dolphins fans going at all day. dolphin fans will get revenge after putting up with jets gloating all year.

I really hope the NFL decides to flex the Broncos-Chargers game and not the Jets-Dolphins game. I have a feeling that if the Ravens and Pats were to win, Mangina would tank his game so he could screw the Patriots out of a playoff spot.

they are flexing the broncos-chargers game. if the jets won, it would have been the dolphins-jets with farve's last game, but since they lost...

This is interesting and predictable, I mean this week. So Giants win, but barely, yet they show everybody they are the best in the NFC and get #1 and home field advantage. But to me they showed they were "barely" the best. I think they will go to the big dance.

The Titans crush one of the teams some consider their AFC competition, the Steelers, so it's a no-brainer that they have their #1 seed and home field advantage. One team that can pose a threat is Indy, but I am doubting that. By showing us that they are much better than anybody in their conference, the Titans are probably the best by a large margin in the AFC, and best of odds to go to the Super Bowl.

With this week turning out as expected, it just increased the chances of a Giants-Titan Super Bowl, and with the Titans showing pure dominance, they will probably show that dominance against the Giants and win. Now I hope the score I predicted earlier will hold below.

With their home fields decided this week and not next, then that gives all starters extra time to rest and get over injuries they may have. This, besides the own home fields, give them a huge advantage.

Look at those Fins. Just one more win, and we are in.

How is the Miami v Jets game next week not the featured game of the week? Either way Im glued to the set for both the Miami/Jets game (go Miami, hoowah!), and also the Denver/San Diego game.

What an unbelievable season Miami has had. I remember when the season started thinking that 8 - 8 would be a great year. But this? Weeeeee!!!

#10 for MVP!

I agree, the bigger story line is Fins/Jets, QB beats former team to knock them out of playoffs.
