it is really dumb that tebow can get more first place votes, but still come in third. if i was bradford I wouldn't be that proud. "yay! i got the most 2nd place votes!!"

In fact, he should have refused to accept it, presented it to Tebow and asked for his autograph

you're right, he should have. tebow got the most first place votes. "hey mccain, since you had more people not vote for you to be president, you are now the new president-elect" :rolleyes:

what i am saying is, personally, I would be more excited about winning the heisman if I deserved it, by getting the most first place votes, not because I had the most second place votes.

So... getting the most points doesn't count in the balloting, only first place votes, huh?

So... I guess if Florida scores 3 field goals against the Sooners, and Oklahoma scores one touchdown... the Gators will give the game to the Sooners at the end of the game, even though they won 9-7 because, after all, the Sooners scored more touchdowns... right?

If only first place votes counted, there wouldn't be a place for 2nd or 3rd place votes on the ballot.

Tennessee
Auburn
LSU
Notre Dame
Michigan
Clemson

Just to name a few...

Being 9-3 is hardly the biggest disappointment

meh.

michigan was obviously going to suck. bring in a new coach veryyy late, change the entire offense without having new recruits = fail. he should have stayed with the current offense until he is able to get his recruits. michigan will be back ontop in 2-3 years.

notre dame..well clausen sucks :D

BTW, after posting above about UGA and Clemson, MacDawg are you excited about the rivalry getting started back up in 2013-14? As close as those teams are they should play every year.

I believe that the eight-team playoff is the best method. I mean, as ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd is wont to say, "Say it out loud--does a BCS #9 ranked team actually have a chance to win it all?"

I didn't think so, even last year.

Hardly in the top 2 or 3 biggest disappointments of the season
I listed at least 6 above that were far worse, and I am sure there are more
Disappointed? Of course... but not an historic collapse
Was it nice to be preseason #1... of course
But preseason #1s have a bulls-eye too
While we enjoyed it and trash talked it, most Dawg fans didn't buy that hype... the schedule was not kind to us
I expected 2 losses this year with our schedule... I didn't expect Tech

Ha, Ha... never said I was pleased, but I am not shaken and it is not a catastrophic season.
We will still likely win 10 games, how many other programs in the country would like to say that?

Just like Gator fans to crawl out of the swamp after it all over to gloat! :p
Where were you all season? Where were you after the Ole Miss loss?
Yes, you have had a good season.
But it is media love and hype that keeps you at the top more than anything.
