Jeez, it's only a fetish.
If this hadn't have been made public you'd have still trusted him...

I've never trusted Max, for years I've been (im)patiently waiting for him to retire.

Then there's also the fact that he's tried to always distance himself from his father and Nazism, if this is true then it casts that into doubt.

Well, he was involved with his father's post-war neo-fascist party (the Union Movement).

That may all be irrelevant. Governments and industry subsidize and pay for the sport & they may not want something like this associated with F1. Pressure might still come from sponsors and venues for Max's resignation, especially from the non-western ones where morality is held more strictly.

valid point.

still i doubt it will have much effect max or F1.

BMW, Mercedes slam Mosley's behaviour.

Autosport/BMW/Mercedes said:
A joint statement issued by them said: "The content of the publications is disgraceful. As a company, we strongly distance ourselves from it."

Mosley responds to BMW, Mercedes.

Mosley said:
"Given the history of BMW and Mercedes Benz, particularly before and during the Second World War, I fully understand why they would wish to strongly distance themselves from what they rightly describe as the disgraceful content of these publications."

   (Though he does have a point).

This is even better than Spygate. Brilliant.

Oh Max, what have you done (or should that be WHO have you done???)

Anyway we now have a nice little list of people coming out against Max:

BMW
Merc
Honda
Toyota

anyone else?

Don't mention the war. I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it all right.

Hahaha, I was thinking the same thing!

The interesting part is that Moseley denies the Nazi-role playing but not the part about the 5 prostitutes...

Ooh. Is he resigning?

I'm just curious. You went to the trouble of creating a screen dump of an article header and posting it here. It's really pretty useless to anyone that wants to read the article. Wouldn't it be easier and more meaningful to create a link to the article?

Usually on the BBC News ticker, if a story finishes with 'More Soon', that means the full article isn't up yet, so there's no link. Likewise, linking to the BBC News main page would be futile since the ticker changes frequently.

bartelby's just being his sharp-as-a-tack self ;)
