i wonder if the committee got to split the 40 mill...? ;)

and upon further review: blame for the massa and dc wreck @melbourne,imho, could at least be split evenly between the two or totally on dc. someone on here posted that dc isn't happy with the position of the mirrors but regardless of that he should still try to use them! massa was clearly alongside and in a fair position to challenge... whether he should or not given dc's past history... enter at your own risk...

that said, i'd have to agree that he is "good" not "great". and depending on the most recent performance i'd venture to say he is "just o.k.", not even "good". lol. ;)

hhhmmmm....

Even Schumi said Massa had some of the blame in the incident with DC.

DC should have let him go, but Massa was over-aggressive. It's what I mean by that last 5% to greatness. Massa doesn't have it, so he gets tangled up in things like this, has problems coming to grips with lack of TC, etc. I didn't like Schumi for his cheatin' ways, but he didn't make mistakes like Massa makes.

And I just loved it when Lewis "tricked" Massa at 07 Malaysia. Classic!
i'm in good company then...

FIA to tweak qualifying for Bahrain.

Autosport/FIA said:
An FIA spokesman confirmed that teams will be notified of the decision to impose a maximum time limit, which is likely to be 120 percent of a normal lap.

"The matter is under discussion and our clarification to the teams and drivers will be that cars returning to the pits having completed their flying lap or laps will be required to do so within a time that we will set," the spokesman told autosport.com.

"This could be approximately 120% of the 'normal' time as we do to prevent drivers going very slowly to the grid to save fuel."

Excellent. We really don't need stupidity like last week ruining the races again.

Bloody hell a sensible rule!

Let's see how long it is before Ferrari bends it!;)

Wrong team fella, remember, this rule was only invoked because of McLaren. ;) It was only the second race and they were already cheating. Nothing new there... but so soon? :p

True. If they'd just stopped on the circuit they'd have been fine. :p

Oh dear I don't think he can talk himself out of that fine pickle. Waits for resignation in 3....2....1...

D'oh!

Deary me, Max. You might've just about got away with that if the girls hadn't been kitted out as Nazis and you'd been barking orders in French.

With his family history especially, he'll be out on his ear very soon indeed. Bernie'll be running a mile from this.

He's head (President) of the FIA

(xUKHCx's post is way more informative than mine :) Only thing I'd add that has some circumstantial link to the story is that he is the son of Sir Oswald Mosley, head of the British Union of Fascists during WWII. Max was, in earlier years, in line to stand for a seat in the House of Commons under the fascist Union Movement banner. Not a particularly pleasant background, by all accounts. Might have something to do with his apparent Nazi fetish).

wow 5 hookers,

what does this guy do i forgot who he is

Max Mosley

Max Rufus Mosley (born 1940, London, England) is currently serving his fourth term as president of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), a non-profit association that represents the interests of motoring organisations and motor car users worldwide. The FIA is also the governing body for Formula One and other international motor sports.

As much as the guy annoys me he should stay. Private lives are just that.

My gut instinct, wooly hand-wringing liberal that I am, is to agree :)

However, I just don't know how he'll continue in his job. Imagine the giggles and whispers at FIA meetings! Of course there's a line between public and private lives. But this logic doesn't often follow through when private becomes public. Especially when Mosley already has a significant number of people wot don't like him much at all, in all honesty, guv (as Mark Blundell might put it).

April Fools' Day is coming up. Might I suggest an FIA meeting with all the attendees dressed up as the cast of 'Allo 'Allo

ya imagine on halloween people dressed up as max and their friends dressed as nazi hookers

ha maybe thats my plain next year :D, especially about have a bunch of girls dressed as hookers, ahhh i love halloween
