Is it wrong that I always cringe when Martin Brundle tries to be all chummy with drivers and celebs on his 'grid walk' before every race?

I don't think he's as popular as he thinks he is... :D today he was practically chewing his microphone in frustation!

He knows the drivers quite well, being a manager.

Many of the drivers don't like talking just before the race, especially this one...

So what do you Brits think about F1 going to BBC next year. Is it really true that the Top Gear lads will call races? That would be like us having 3 David Hobs making engine noises. ;)

BTW: my wife and I love Top Gear.

It's good. No ad breaks. The TG thing was a nasty rumour, I hope!
It's the same team as now. But hopefully they'll drop James Allen.

It'll be fantastic. The Cock is gone, there'll be no breaks and no, the Top Gear guys are not doing the commentary.

Back to the race: Lewis has the soft tyres on so I reckon a short first stint which would make sense given the qualifying performance...

F1 belongs on the Beeb... no more "here's a replay of the really exciting thing that happened while you were watching an advert for financial services"

And even better if it's in HD :D

Yeah, we could do without the ad breaks in the US. I'm surprised our Speed Channel even continues to carry F1. I'm waiting for the day it gets preempted in favor of a "Who wants to take a NASCAR driver's trash out?" reality show. As it is we have shows about cars that bounce up and down on their wheels...no really we do.

I wish you could mute James Allen...

Sutil looks nothing like being "in the wall"...

Isn't that *all* American cars? :p

Off topic: Seriously, sounds like you're talking about Pimp My Ride? We have a UK version of that presented by a BBC Radio DJ called Tim Westwood... he calls himself the "big dog", and does all the black gangsta rap speak, but he's whiter than Vanilla Ice - it's hilarious to watch! :D

I'll see your "big dog" and raise...

That was in no way Kimi's fault...Hamilton is n idiot....does he not know what red means!!!!! I'm so pissed!!:p

Maybe not idiot, as the cars stop so quickly so if you don't expect it you'll almost certainly hit the back of them. He really should've been told by the team that the red light was on (as he likely couldn't see it was on until it was too late).
