I divide my loyalties evenly between Raikkonen and Hamilton, being British I support Hamilton, But Ferrari is Ferrari when it comes to F1, So I love Raikkonen aswell, shame I cant spell his name,

In regards to Spa, The most annoying thing is that Kimi didnt need to push hard and ultimately crash into the wall, he was obviously pushing because he'd been overtaken by Hamilton, maybe the F1, are compensating for that. But I do not know, a 25 second penalty is pretty stupid. But I do think Hamilton gained an advantage by cutting the chicane, But I do not think the 25 seconds should have been imposed,

My hopes for Monza, Hamilton and Kimi, racing for position on the last lap, who wins, I dont really mind.

this has been an AMAZING season, Bring on the rain again, Oh and Singapore, :D:D:D:D Its almost as exciting as an apple event.

I certainly hope not. Despite the bone-headed decision in China that ended up costing him the 2007 Championship, Lewis has shown remarkable driving skill in the wet. If Kimi didn't have the setup to allow him to stay in front of Lewis in those conditions - or any conditions, for that matter - well, that's between him and his race engineer.

Then again, maybe the stewards were making up to Massa for the horrible race he had at Silverstone. :p

Well, that looks like it's going to be a petty weird grid for tomorrow then. Should make for an interesting and hopefully exciting race :)

Still, shame that Hamilton couldn't do anything at all.

Well, sending him out on inters was bloody stupid.

Cool for Vettel and STR.

Oh, he sounds rather pleased!

Hammy's been on the offensive this week.

Lewis Hamilton was defiant on Thursday when told many of his fellow F1 racers believe the FIA was right to penalise him for passing illegally at Spa Francorchamps.

Many corners of F1's spectator-base and press believe the 25-second penalty that retrospectively cost the McLaren driver his Belgian Grand Prix victory was unfair, but that was not a widespread sentiment among other drivers as they spoke at Monza.

The Ferrari drivers, Fernando Alonso and Jarno Trulli this week already sided with the stewards, and on Thursday it emerged that - even if they think Hamilton losing his win was harsh - Sebastien Bourdais, Nico Rosberg, Nick Heidfeld and Giancarlo Fisichella share similar opinions.

"I don't really understand why there's been such a mess around it," Toro Rosso's Bourdais said. "There's a rulebook and everybody has to obey the same thing."

Championship leader Hamilton seemed unmoved at Monza when he was told what his fellow drivers think.

"We always have our own opinions and they have a right to have theirs," the Briton said.

"It is always easy to have a certain opinion when you are not involved," the McLaren driver added, "or when you are the one who is not winning."

Lewis Hamilton at Monza tempted his Ferrari rivals into a psychological battle of words, as the championship battle whittles down to just five races to go.

With a two point advantage over Felipe Massa, the championship leader was in defiant mood on the eve of the Italian Grand Prix weekend.

"I think Massa is on the back foot and he is the one that has to work damn hard to keep up with me," said Hamilton.

Massa spoke with less of a swagger as he also addressed the media on Thursday.

"We saw this year that you have some races where maybe Ferrari was a little bit better. You had other races where perhaps McLaren were a little bit better. It's really difficult to make a clear comment on whether we have an advantage or they have an advantage," he said.

Hamilton's strike did not end at one Ferrari driver, however, as he analysed the reasons for how he closed on world champion Kimi Raikkonen in the drizzly last laps at Spa Francorchamps a week ago.

"That's the way he drives.

If you don't have the balls to brake late, that's your problem," the Briton said, referring to Raikkonen.

"At the end of the day, in those situations, it's the driver who can feel the grip more - and put the car more on the edge - that gets past. I'm great in those conditions," Hamilton added.

Both Raikkonen and Massa, who have said Hamilton was right to have had his Belgian win taken away, did not agree.

"Everyone has an opinion but I don't see it like that," Raikkonen replied. "He had more grip and he was in a better position after he cut the corner."

Massa added: "We have seen many times this year that in the rain we lost a little bit of performance."

Such a classy guy.

Well it is no real secret that the rest of the F1 drivers don't much care for him, so it's not surprising they all think the penalty was "justified". Of course, if any of them had been in the same situation...

Anyway, he's got his work cut out for him tomorrow. So in the words of Steve Matchett "shut up and drive the car, son". :)

Of course, if any of them had been in the same situation...

They probably wouldn't be calling out other drivers, or telling them that they only have their opinion because they weren't involved. They go to the same drivers' meetings that he does.

Well, actually, they go to more, because almost all of them are in the GPDA too.

Right, my predictions:

Hamilton will try and win the race on the first lap and FAIL.

Kimi will do the bare minimum until near the end of the race when he'll realise he's just outside the points and put some effort in.

Massa will cruise to victory.

Nakagima will crash

Rubens and DC will have a coming together.

Button will last 5 laps and then complain how bad the car is to Louise.

EDIT: It's raining. Scrap Massa winning then...

EDIT 2: Come on Vettel!!!

OMG I GOT A DVR YESTERDAY
and i was able to watch the race this morning.
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

even though it was less than eventful.

hamilton did good, i can say this too because he didn't pass masa:p

ahhhhhhhhhhhh dvr, this is really nice
commercials are not supper loud, they are the same level (some option)
not even having to watch commercials

Are you sure you watched the right race?

Or do you mean it was less than eventful because a red car didn't win?

Kimi was just being Kimi.
Why should he try when he's just extended his contract.

Good for Vettell! I thought Ham was gonna win, not sure what happened after the second pit, though. Kovalainen didn't look to happy on the podium.

Excited for the night race!

Yeah! I love DVR! That's how I get to watch my races, considering they happen at 4:30 IN THE MORNING! Well they start at 5:00.

I just looked ahead at the schedules. The practice started at 6:30. Qualifying, 7:00, so far so good, than, the race, still starts at 4:30!! AM  Oh well. When will I get to watch a race live? It's much more exciting that way.

I wouldn't get too excited if I were you.
There'll be enough lighting to make it brighter than daylight.

Just like the MotoGP. There'll probably be the strange multi-shadow thing going on too.

Personally I think they should stick headlights on the cars and drive in the dark, Le Mans style :D
