If Moose still wants to play next year and the Yanks don't sign him again, what an ungrateful club the Yankees will be. With Wang out, Mussina single handily carried the pitching club along with Petite( although he is stuggling as of late). 18 wins is something to write home about when asking if they should keep a player.
 
I don't think the issue is bringing Moose back. The issue is how many years and how much. I don't see the Yankees giving him 3 years. Maybe 2. He is going to want to get 300 wins. That is at least 3 years.
