Canes moving up the polls. Except for a sloppy 4th qtr. the Canes played well in the 33-17 win. Boy that Harris has some big targets to throw too.

I am torn on the UF/UT game. On one hand, I 100% agree with everyone stating that UF will blow UT out....Crompton is absolute garbage and the UT OL has not been anywhere near as great as many have said in the national media.
With that said, I tend to give old Monte credit and think that with the talent he has at UT, he will put together something to slow down UF....and yes, UF can be slowed down as they are not always blowing out people.
Then again, I figure UT could slow them down and have JC throw 3-4 INT's and give it right back

Same here, though I just call them Rocky Top. I mean, they play that song EVERY TWO OR THREE MINUTES at their games, so that has to be their name, right?
Have I mentioned lately how much I HATE that song?
Anyway, I think it will be a bit closer than the line, but I still think the Gators win easily. The Vol offense still looked...offensive last week.
It's certainly been a good game. Lots of great plays. Or crappy plays, depending on your point of view.
This one might have just ended with that incomplete pass.

What a wild game!
Offense, defense and special teams was huge! And talk about a heads up play in the end zone by Titus Young finishing the play. I love that guy! I just wish he wouldn't have effed up his sophomore year by getting suspended. I can't image how much better he would be now had he played last year.
I can't believe Matthews broke three 60+ yard runs. We had bodies on him on two out of the three too. One he went virtually untouched. We did a great job tackling....except on him. Heh. But Matthews is a great player, and he had some great blocking and even better vision. I am honestly happy that he had a standout night, because he's been a great part of Fresno's team but injuries have kept him down. And most Boise State fans have a mutual respect for Fresno and want them to do well to give the league a little more respect.
Our defense still performed well, but I almost got the feeling that they were trying too hard. They usually don't miss those tackles. Talk about frustrating watching Matthews break out those runs!
Speaking of frustrating.... the coaching staff was killing me in that first half! Instead of throwing the ball with a GREAT quarterback, we kept running the ball and losing yards! Throw the ball sometimes BEFORE third down, eh??
All in all I think it was an awesome game. Yeah, our defense is now going to be criticized and we're going to be picked apart for this and that and everyone with an opinion is going to tell us why we would never belong in the BCS.... but I don't care! It was a fun game to watch! Tons of big plays, tons of yards, emotional highs (and lows!) and still coming out of Fresno with a 51-34 win.

Whenever a defense gives up 500+ yards and 300+ yards rushing, the term "performed well" is illegal to use
Is anyone really expecting this to be a game? I honestly have no interest in seeing Florida put the beat-down on yet another weak team...
I'm very torn in this game.
I would like to see another BCS team go down to a non-BCS team, but I also want Oregon to do well so as to further validate Boise's win over them.
EDIT: 3 and out, and a punt returned for a TD... not a good start for the Utes.
