To be sure, The UT band plays "Rocky Top" every time their team manages to run onto the field without tripping over the sidelines. Gets kind of annoying.

Though Tennessee kept the game closer than than the "experts" thought. Monte Kiffin had a great scheme and the UT defense was great.
Bad day for the MWC, Utah loses to Oregon and BYU gets their butts handed to them by that other Florida team.
Their QB should be happy that the officials blew that call - we sniffed that fake out and would have killed him had the whistle not blown.
Holy crap. Is Washington really going to come out with a win over USC???

They could win every game from here on out but still look bad to loosing to this team....

I was originally going to come here and post some scathing response talking about Aaron Corp and all that, but I looked at my bulletin board and decided against it. I've got three Rose Bowl tickets from the past three years (all victories) and you know what? We have it pretty good.
It really doesn't matter. If the past few years are any indication, they will probably steamroll the rest of the Pac 10, win the conference, and go the Rose Bowl. It's almost like Pete Carroll's teams need a wake up call every season or something.
Of course I do. I love it when our rivals lose. I don't love it as much as when we win, but it is still enjoyable. Laughing at the misfortunes of your rivals is one of the great things about this sport.
Oh, come on. You dish it out with the rest of us when our teams lose, so you have to be able to take it.
I definitely wouldn't count USC out for yet another PAC-10 title this year. They looked bad, and a loss is a loss, but when all of their missing starters come back they'll be firing on all cylinders again. I read on ESPN.com that they were without their starting quarterback, their two-time All-American free safety, their starting cornerback, their starting defensive end, their starting wide receiver and their nickelback.
Again, I'm not saying this to make excuses for the loss, because a top caliber team like USC is *supposed* to have so much talent that they should be able to replace everyone at any time and still succeed. This obviously isn't the case, but their starters are still very good, and when they come back I think they'll still be playing in the Rose Bowl.
It being a gorgeous day is no excuse! How could you possibly be outside on a Saturday during college football season??! Unless you were somewhere with a giant screen outside???

New AP Poll is out. Seriously, does Washington really deserve to be in the top 25 simply because they beat Idaho and a gimpy USC? ...I don't think so.
I've taken it just fine.
Of course we're supposed to have back-up talent (Aaron Corp is a 4-star recruit) but it's always really hard to have a backup QB come in successfully, even if they have some talent. Taylor Mays is irreplaceable. So there are two injuries that are hard to overcome. Even then, our defense played alright (meaning Taylor Mays shouldn't have mattered that much in this game). Our offense was plain awful. I really think we're going to peak at the end of the season (as usual) after Barkley has more experience.

As it is now, Michigan has won as many games this year as they did all last season.
I'm really happy with the way they are looking (3-0 right now). This Saturday is the first Big Ten conference game for us, so I'll see how that goes.

Canes at 9. I think they are good but not a Number 9 yet. I hope that doesn't go to their heads as we have Blah-tech Saturday.

Without Harvin or Louis M, they will lose a game. Like USC, they always do so even in their NC years....dating back to Spurrier's NC.
Whether it is UGA, USC, FSU, or the SECCG....it will happen
