Without Harvin or Louis M, they will lose a game. Like USC, they always do so even in their NC years....dating back to Spurrier's NC.

Whether it is UGA, USC, FSU, or the SECCG....it will happen

hmmmm maybe:rolleyes:

You'll have to wait at least another week for Texas - if we lose to UTEP this weekend, that'll be a loss that'll make USC's loss look good. :p

WAIT!!!! USC Plays TEXAS!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::D:D:D:D????????????

cause I want to see a revenge of the sith from losing the 2007 national championship.

somebody in the damm SEC must bring down Florida!!!!!:D

my team USC lost!!!!! and they're 12!!!!!!

ahhhhhhhhhhh

i think the trojans still have a chance in the rose bowl but not the national championship.... unless, florida, texas and alabama lose! next week!!!:D:D

In the SEC Championship, Alabama will.

As it is now, Michigan has won as many games this year as they did all last season. :D

I'm impressed with Michigans QB.

Canes at 9. I think they are good but not a Number 9 yet. I hope that doesn't go to their heads as we have Blah-tech Saturday.

The Canes can beat VT, Shannon has them headed in the right direction, and their QB is unreal. ( If only their fans weren't so annoying!!!!)

As a Gator fan, I hate to say it, but it will probably happen. And it will most likely be to a team you'd never think would beat them.

Can you name me the last time UF went undefeated?

Never. Ever.

In the SEC Championship, Alabama will.

Yeah well, even a blind hog finds a nut every now and then!

I don't know what's going on here but USC is not playing Texas and we weren't in the 2007 national championship. I do love your enthusiasm though.

Fight on.

Yeah, I was going to post a response, but didn't know where to start. So I just closed the window and made myself a margarita instead.

^^^^my bad!!!:p:p:D;)

Alabama has to make the SECCG first.

LSU/OM have more than capable teams to beat Bama and the way AU is playing (and the rivalry between the two), the Iron Bowl will be up in the air

Auburn sucks. They barely beat a ok-ok West Virginia team. WVU should have one to if they didn't have six turnovers. Four picks two fumbles, Two of the picks were in the 4th quarter. WVU blew the game.

It happens. They got the W and generally look impressive.

Alabama will end up losing 2-3 games this year.

Herbstreit knows what's up!!

Miami is undoubtedly a good team (better than they have been in a number of years) but I think #5 is too high for them. I think they lose to Va Tech and to Oklahoma, but they could very well win out after that and go to the ACC title game. Clemson and North Carolina are the only teams that I think will test them after OU.

I think they bury VT. I never understood their preseason #6 or #7. They are not that good. Their offense looked like ours (Miami) the last few years. I think we easily outscore them. Now OKL, that is a tough game, but without Bradford and Gresham, its a game. If Miami at home is 3-0 going into that game, they will be jacked up and can win, but that is why they play the game. But VT, I think that's an easy win. Kind of like a few years ago when Miami wore all white up their and smoked them bad. Clemson and NC will be tough games, but I think Miami will be the favorite. Randy has been recruiting his tail off since he took over, now its showing, plus we finally got a real OC. The scary part is most of Miami's team is sophomores...next year and the year after could be very interesting.

That's exactly my point. Young players make dumb mistakes at times, and it's usually in big games. VA Tech is at home, they have a stout defense and a good running game. Miami might win, but I don't think it will be a blowout. The OU game will be interesting because Bradford probably won't play, but that doesn't mean OU is toothless (despite the belly-flop against BYU). They have some of the best RBs in the nation and if their OL holds up, Landry Jones looks like a pretty decent QB in the making. They'll also show up in Miami with a better defense than anyone in the ACC.

Just my opinions.

I hear you, but I still think VT is overrated. Their best RB was lost for the year before the season started. TT isn't much of a passer, probably worse than the GT passer so Miami should be able to stack the box. Miami's D front is deeper than it has been in years. I am stunned how well the OL has been though. Jacory is hardly getting pressured at all.

By no means do I think OK isn't stacked, but if Miami comes in 3-0 at home, they will be jacked. Miami's speed is back to the old days and the WR depth is better than any year I can recall. Yes, we don't have an Irvin, Wayne, Johnson or Santana, but the current depth is scary. We got 3 guys who would start on many teams sitting the pine because of the depth. It's going to be a heck of a game. I think the biggest difference for Miami though is finally getting a real OC. He has guys running wide open everywhere. It was painful with Nix the last 2 years and the other 2 clowns that each lasted a year prior.

OU's D has been over-rated (or in some years, just not rated because it was so bad) for some time now.

That's true, and they've always (in the Stoops era) been susceptible to the deep ball down the sidelines, but they've also got a very good front seven.

While it's certainly debatable whether or not they are one of the nation's top defenses overall, I stand by my statement that the OU defense is better than any defense in the ACC.

Can someone explain to me how Ole Miss got to be #4? I'm not saying they're not good, but they had four losses last season, and haven't yet played a defining game this season. They also don't seem to be one of those programs that always get the benefit of the doubt either. For some reason I can see them at #13 or #14, but #4?
