I think they're being mum about his condition partly because Florida is off this week. That, and it gives them an extra week to make their next opponent (who?) sweat it out.

I was joking

I don't think ESPN goes 5 minutes without updating me on absolutely no change

Breaking News on ESPNU, ESPN360, ESPN2, ESPN, ESPNOcho, ESPNDeportes: Tebow's condition has no changed from 4 minutes ago!

Roll Tide baby! Another nice win.
Let's see how LSU and Ga play... I had LSU picked for this one.

And, as if all the coverage on ESPN wasn't enough, the CBS game (LSU/Georgia) just talked about his injury and status.

And one of those goons actually said something about how "he's probably out helping people."

Seriously, I'm surprised the guy can even play football - the helmet can't possibly fit over his head because of his halo.

I'm glad they pointed that out for me. I figured he was just out walking on water or something like that just to show off. I'm surprised he has time to play with all the loaves and fishes, curing lepers, and the like.

I still think Georgia got screwed today. That ridiculous celebration penalty really made a huge difference. He was celebrating with his teammates! Stupid.

Cal has imploded again.

It came down to the wire in Miami with the Hurricanes dealing Oklahoma their second loss.

Oregon took care of WSU.

Houston started out strong against UTEP, but then faltered in the second half.

And the Idaho Vandals look to extend their lead over Colorado State going in to the fourth quarter! Crazy.

Another fun day of college football!

:)

Georgia and Washington both got screwed

Miami WON!

I'm an OU fan, but that was a fun college football game. Miami definitely impressed me.

As far as OU, could there be a more snakebitten team? Coming into the year, even with all of the offensive line losses, the glue was still intact for a national title run in Bradford, Gresham, Broyles.

Now, here we are in week 5 and Gresham is out for the year, the local sports station just confirmed through coaches that Broyles is out for 4-6 weeks with a broken shoulder sustained tonight, and Bradford is still out. That glue is gone and the new younger pieces just clearly aren't ready.

I think they will be good looking ahead with all of the young talent, but in the interim, it could get ugly this year.

Big Blue, was dealt their first loss of the season. To Michigan State of all teams.. Ugghhhh

Roll Tide. Damn we are looking good this year. I just hope we look this good against a team that is ranked!

Ugly is very, VERY relative. Four losses is a possibility, but outside of Texas and Oklahoma State, I don't see a whole lot of challenging games for the Sooners. Kansas is pretty good again, weird things always happen in Lubbock and Nebraska gets you at home, but OU should be able to win those three without too much problem, especially if Bradford ever comes back.

I wouldn't be surprised to see OU run the table until the end of the season (including beating Texas), only to lose to OSU.

We will have a big test this weekend, against Ole Miss

As for Miami we looked pretty good, Harris is really impressing me.

Roll Tide and Go Canes!

New AP Poll.

New AP Poll.

That poll does go to prove how worthless it really is. Houston loses and they are taken completely off the poll. But when lets say OSU losses to an unranked they stay on it.

Personally I think it is sad the "good schools" are given forgiveness losses but if you are not part of the "good schools" you are kick off the polls or drop like a rock on any loss.

No kidding. Where did Idaho come from?? They actually looked pretty good!

The ESPN Gameday guys actually talked up Idaho a bit yesterday morning and one of them (I think it was Fowler, but not sure) picked Idaho over Colorado State as their upset alert. They also said that Idaho's QB is a sure bet to be playing on Sundays very soon.

Boise State certainly looks to be in good shape. I think Texas has one or two losses ahead of them, and the SEC teams will beat each other up. Boise might get the chance they've been waiting for.

They better not with that schedule.

USC still at number 7 after thrashing Cal. Joe McKnight is turning into the player we all knew he was. Watch out for him.

Did anyone see Taylor Mays outrun Jahvid Best when he tried to run outside on Mays? Why would you even try that?

A sure sign your defensive secondary sucks: You give up 266 yards passing (a career high) to GEORGIA TECH, of all teams. For the second game in a row, we had better stats, and still lost, thanks to turnovers. I wonder if stickum is legal in NCAA? :)

Anyway, I feel Georgia and Washington got screwed. That penalty on Green was stupid, but I really shouldn't expect anything different from SEC officials. Then again, it would have helped for Georgia's defense to actually tackle somebody. I counted at least 3 guys who had a chance to tackle Scott on that game winning TD run.

Washington got really screwed. The RB's knee was clearly down before he crossed the goal line.

Oh yeah, I agree about Houston. No way should they have completely dropped from the polls. The non AQ teams get really screwed like that every year.

Thoughts from the weekend

- Did anyone actually think Cal would beat USC?
- I still can't believe UTEP scored that many points against Houston
- As others have said, Georgia got screwed by refs that should lose their job. I sure hope Tebow gets called for taunting the next time he pumps up the crowd because that is how they were calling yesterday. Tim Brando brought race into the equation....I can't argue with that right now.
- Alabama looks quite good but they will still lose 2 games before their bowl game
- Auburn just may challenge for the West this year. With that said, Gus is gone for a HC job after this season wraps up
- Oklahoma looks just flat out average all around.
- Miami is quite solid but I don't get where people are claiming they are great.

I was really upset with the way Michigan's offense played on Saturday. I know it was awesome to come back and tie it in the last few minutes of the game, but we really didn't deserve it.

I'm just hoping that this Saturday against Iowa isn't a disaster. I really hope they can get it together this week.
