Hey guys lets not forget about bama.... I mean really come on now. I know we didn't look that good on our last game, but I think some of that had to do with the fact that was our 8th straight game. I am not saying all, but you could see how winded we were towards the end of that game......

ahhh, Had 4 tests this week, taking the last one soon. Then Ohio State tomorrow, student white out, been waiting all year to hopefully see T. Cryor cry again. We should beat them down if our o-line plays good and defense keeps doing it's thing

Oh, happy day! Any day that ends with Notre Dame losing is a great day - losing at home to Navy makes it that much better!
So by my count, losses today by #4 Iowa, #6 Oregon, #9 LSU, #10 Georgia Tech, and #11 Penn State could certainly shake things up quite a bit. I'm also interested in what happens after TCU's big win and Boise's squeaker.

Georgia Tech pulled it out in OT, but it was a fun day today, that's for sure. I'm curious what the Socal media is gonna do now that the 'best team in college football' just got beat by Stanford. Is Stanford now the best team in the nation?
Ah yes I see that now - I saw 27-24 OT earlier and assumed it was a final.
I watched the second half of last weeks Oregon - USC game, and Oregon did indeed look like they could have beaten just about anybody. I didn't watch today's game past the opening kickoff return by Stanford.
Once again Texas got off to a slow start but finished quite strong. Shipley should be generating more Heisman buzz, he's quite a talent.
I suppose it's too much to hope for Vandy to pull off an upset tonight? Pretty please?
Oregon looked like they were suffering from a post-USC game letdown. They're indeed pretty good - I was merely taking the opportunity to stick it to the fellate-all-things-USC Socal media.
The BCS Championship Game is headed for the Texas versus Alabama/Florida winner matchup.

Hopefully Texas stays focused and avoids a letdown. It'd be nice to see KSU in the Big 12 title game - Colt hasn't beaten KSU before, and it'd be cool to get another shot at them. Years ago I was in Wichita for a month getting some training, and I decided to drive up to Manhattan for the KSU game. I froze my balls off, Colt got hurt, and we lost the game. I want to get that memory out of my mind.

Yeah, I know wishful thinking. With the way things have been going this season, we'll probably lose in the 4th being inches the goal line. Of course, the SEC championship game makes me wonder who the officials are going to help out more. I guess it depends on who pays them more or whoever Slive wants to win.
Anyway, is the Pac 10 trying to be like the ACC? It looks like we have a Pac10 roulette now. I think the Big 12 north has one as well, though it looks like K-State has that one in hand, simply because everybody else sucks.
I think the BCS title game will be Texas vs. the SEC winner, unless Texas A&M throws a wrench into the works. They have been very inconsistent this year. I think the Texas defense will be too much for them, though. At one point, I thought South Carolina had a chance to beat Florida, but it looks like they are in their usual late season collapse. I think the ol' Ball Coach won't be there much longer.

The top six shuffled, followed with the usual fallout from the teams that lost.
My biggest surprise though is that LSU held on to their #9 spot despite their loss. Not to say they didn't deserve it, being as their two losses are from the #1 and #3 teams. I just think it's unusual because it seems so many voters tend to drop teams in the rankings specifically due to their loss. So kudos to the voters I guess.

wow OU lost to nebraska. A school Texas Tech mop the floor with and the game were the backup QB really showed he was better than Potts.
