Oh wow! I wouldn't have expected that. Of course I'm in Pac-10 land, so my local media is pretty biased.

My guess would have been pretty close to "pick 'em," or maybe a point either way. I would never have guessed 10 points, but evidently somebody out there seems to know something I don't. :)

texas tech vs michigan st should have been an easy win for the big12 since mighigan state has a bunch of players suspended, but now that leach is suspended...

The pirate was fired today. Tech will probably still win the game, but it will likely be a lot closer than it would have been.

The Sun Bowl has to be a bookmaker's nightmare, what with the still undetermined status of Stanford's starting QB Andrew Luck, who still has a chance to play tomorrow.

Without Luck, the 10 point spread seems about right because Stanford's backup QB, senior Tavita Pritchard, just isn't very good. With an effective Luck, it should be an excellent and very even matchup. We'll see...

I don't feel too bad for the casinos - they'll make their money either way. :)

Good game going on between BGSU and Idaho. EDIT: They're going for two - and they GET IT! Awesome!

Arizona managed only 108 yards and 5 first downs for the game. Incredible performance by the NU defense. The Huskers will probably start the 2010 season in the Top 10.

The Mountain West Conference chocks up another bowl win to bring the final tally to 4-0. A great showing by Air Force against Houston. When I had stopped watching, Air Force had intercepted Houston 5 times!

Six times all together. :) I don't think Keenum ever deserved to be in any Heisman discussion, just as Hawai'i's Colt Brennan didn't deserve to be there two years ago. Just because someone throws the ball 60 times a game to some great receivers doesn't mean they deserve to go to New York...

Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch the game, and I forgot to DVR it. :( But I was really hoping Air Force would take it to Houston!

The MWC is having a great Bowl Season! Going 4-1 after all is said and done is incredible!

:D

If you'd watched the game, you'd know that many of the interceptions were the fault of the so-called great receivers. Keenum is a much better player than Brennan ever was, and would have put up great numbers in pretty much any system.

Even with a couple of bad games to end the season, he's still a better NFL prospect than Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow because the Heisman hype is just that...hype, and has little to do with how good a player actually is.

Sheesh. Is Oregon going to show up in this game??

I was referring to Hawai'i's great receivers, not Houston's. I agree Keenum is a good quarterback and much better than Brennan, but the fact remains his numbers are only where they are because their offense is one-dimensional just as Hawai'i's was.

Now that I completely agree with.

.....

Oregon's defense finally showed up, now they just need to find their offense...

EDIT:

Ohio State has looked really good today. Congrats to them!

Kelly should have stuck to his guns and kept Blount on the sidelines.

The Big Ten and Ohio State both proved something today. :) I just wish Brian Kelly was still calling the shots at Cincinnati. They don't look the same. Tony Pike is a much better QB than how he is playing tonight...

That doesn't make any more sense to me. I love the TCU/BSU matchup. The only one I'd rather see is TCU/Alabama.

Besides, why does BSU deserve to play Cincy and not TCU?

I dont like the TCU/BSU as they are both non BCS so it doesnt really prove anything as you cant use it as a measuring stick against the big teams

Maybe I am biased, but I feel TCU is a muuuuch better team than BSU and Cincy and them playing Florida would be a good indicator. I feel BSU playing a BCS team would be beneficial as well. I also dont like TCU/BSU as ,well, they played last year in bowl season so I am not like really that excited about it

Granted, I would have loved for them to be playing Alabama for the title but I have no huge issue with UT being there though

Reason it would be nice for TCU to play UF is well, Utah already beat Bama last year. Let's get another MWC team to play the other premier SEC team is my thoughts
