I have nothin against the leafs, but they really need to stop this winning ****. The season is already over so just tank it so the Bruins can get a good pick :D I want Hall or Seguin!

Oh. the bruins are already gonna make the playoffs. but they'll lose in the first round.

The thing is the Bruins have the Leafs' first round pick from the Kessel deal. They need to keep losing so the B's can get a top 3 pick, and draft one of Hall, Seguin, or Fowler.


Although with Peter Chiarelli's latest move (signing Ference to a 3 year extension at 2.25 per year), it's not going to matter. He's killing this team and needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY. Who in their right mind signs Ference (31 yo, hasnt played more than 50 games in the past few years, injury prone, and not even a top 4 defenseman) to 2.25 a year when he's currently making 1.6. Now we're going to lose Seidenburg or Stuart because of this.

Looks like the NHL and NHLPA are still negotiating to get this rule in place this season. So NHL players, if you want to take someone out with a headshot, tonight is the night to do it.....

Let's see how the PA screws this one up......

OT, this morning, NPR had a little story about the Stanley Cup in Kandahar and they also had an NHL old-timers Canada vs. the USA roller hockey game at the base. Bryan Burke went with Team USA, and they referred to him as Team USA's Olympic Hockey coach. *sigh*

I've actually had 3 facebook invites to "Fire Glen Sather" facebook groups in the past few weeks.

It's a continuous cycle of buying overpriced talent from other teams, having it not work out and being saddled with big cap hit players. :rolleyes:


Either way...blueshirts are 3 points out on Boston, have just won 2 in a row and are about to play the Leafs then the Isles again. Boston is up against Calgary and Buffalo next, Atlanta faces the Hurricanes who've been hot. Could be the Rangers' time to make the leap! :D

It's spring term of my senior year of college, I need the Rangers in the playoffs so my friends and I have an excuse to get drunk and yell at the TV on weeknights, which has been a tradition the past few years.

I think SJ will come out on top in terms of points in the West. They've won 4 in a row, are 4 points ahead, and have a game in hand on Phoenix. I wonder what is going through Gretzky's mind......

The East...obviously Washington in terms of points, and they'll probably win the President's Trophy.

Now for who I think will end up in the Finals..... It's hard to make an educated choice until the first round seedings are decided. But if I had to purely guess.... Pittsburgh and I think you're on to something with Phoenix.:eek:
