IMO, he's acting selfishly and doesn't show that he has any desire to win the Cup. However, you can't really fault the guy for wanting to get as much money as he can. However, you can fault him and his agent for not having the foresight on how such a large contract will affect the rest of the team.
I agree completely. It's just like the people who get mad at CEOs for being paid a huge pile of money. Nobody is ever going to say no.
I keep expecting the Rangers to buy the Islanders, keep players like me on the Isles, making $50K/year, and then just average the two team salaries.
