Will the race be shown (in the US) on Fox or Speed? I'm thinking Fox as I can't find info on Speed site. Show time? Thanks in advance.

Well, Button is top in BBC's fuel adjusted grid. You gotta fancy him tomorrow.

I don't know how bbc fuel adjusted the grid, because to me Kimi seems a lot heavier than Button.

Could it be the kers that makes him heavier? Or is the BrawnGP more gas-savy?

In case the former is true, I see kers more as a hassle and pretty much don't understand why teams are still using it. The advantage in horsepower is not worth the gain in weight and the handicap it gives you in qualifying.

Yes, but he was also a lot slower. The fuel adjusted grid is worked off the quali time adjusted for fuel load. Even adjust for fuel Kimi is just too slow.

Red Bull are still 0.2 off the pace of the Brawn's. All Button needs to do is keep within 2 seconds of Vettel to the first stop, put in 2 - 3 quick laps and then stay ahead. Also Button is so good at managing the softs that he should be able to run longer on them and win his 6th race of the season.

I think Red Bull should gift wrap the championship and hand it to JB. Red BUll just seem to drop the ball in terms of strategy and Vettel making a number of silly mistakes.

Cruise control now for JB and 6 wins out of 7 I guess.

What are Red Bull doing! Sticking Vettel on a 3 stop. Only reason to do that is because you can't look after the softs well. They have turned a safe 2nd into a risky 3rd.

JB and Webber pit. The only way Vettel can change things is if he pulls out some stunning laps on the hard tyre in comparison to them. A splash and dash for him I guess.

I think Formula One fans need to sit back and realise what we are witnessing at the moment. We are probably seeing the crowning of one of the greatest motor racing champions ever, Jenson Button. No only joking, Ross Brawn.

Looking back over his career he has been so influential on so many championships. But what summarised all the championships that he has won? Calmness. When they where successful at Ferrari in the early 2000's they where clam and composed, their rivals just kept dropping the ball all the time in terms of strategy and making silly mistakes, think BAR in 2004 and Williams in 2003. Then when he left Ferrari they made mistakes and errors which cost them two championships. Now at Brawn the same thing is happening. The drivers are able to drive with confidence because they know that they will not be let down by strategy or silly mistakes. At the moment Red Bull are chasing Brawn and running light in qualifying to ensure they get ahead and making mistakes which Brawn will never do.

This is something to behold and shows the true ability of Ross Brawn. A lot of the guys still at Brawn where they when I worked there and to see the turn around in the way they operate at the track is amazing. Keep it up guys!

You're right, the guy really IS a legend. Button has always been a good driver, but hasn't had a car to challenge for the title. Now he has the car AND the team to support him, and it's really made him raise his game and pretty much all of the credit for that must go to Ross. I know Ross himself has said credit needs to go to Honda and the millions they spent in development, but I doubt we'd be seeing such success without Ross Brawn's influence

Yep, Brawn is the winner.
The drivers are his helpers.
Schumacher a few years ago, Button now.

But, Barrichello does show why his team mate is the excellent driver.... ;)

Yes, yes, and yes. the car has been unbelievable so far...tho i am sad, honda has not gone out in vain (well not totally).

You are right. In the past at Honda they where investing the money, but there where certain people at the company (to quote The Apprentice) "spunking money up the wall". Now Ross has come in and said, right we need to spend money on X, Y and Z and people listen to him and take note of what he says. From people I know who are still there he instills an aura of calmness and control which just spills over into everyone else. He doesn't always make the correct decision (Rubens in Spain) but he gets it right 99% of teh time and people trust his decisions, designers can follow his guide 100% and the drivers can push 100%, knowing his tactics and setup will be correct.

You see the difference between a driver who can push 100% because he knows his car works how he expects and one who is not sure what will happen. There is a huge difference and that is what you are seeing with JB this season.

I like Rubens, but Button is showing him up somewhat. I think we may see Rubens retire at the end of the season

Well there were strong rumours Bruno Senna would've got the drive had Honda stayed in. I imagine Rubens would play the dutiful professional should it be required of him.

It's on FOX, tape delayed and most likely dumbed down as usual.

Fortunately, FOX keeps the SPEED commentators and production staff, so it's almost as good as a SPEED broadcast.

(Ross) doesn't always make the correct decision (Rubens in Spain) but he gets it right 99% of the time...

I still firmly believe he put Rubens on a three-stop strategy to ensure Button would win. Not out of nationalism or favoritism, but because he knows who is the stronger driver and with Button only getting half-points in Malaysia, they need to make sure he maximizes points because the RBR look(ed) like a threat.

If Malaysia had been full points, I think he could have afforded to let Rubens win. But with the last two championships decided by one point, two points were too much to risk at that stage of the game.
