Geez, I was thinking something fresh, and amazingly amazing was going to come from Benn in the shootout when he slowed way down. Oh well, still a close, tight game.
 
Holy crap! I don't know how we did it, but we beat the Captials 5-4 tonight after the shootout.

We were down 4-1 going into the 3rd!

I was about to post this: "Well, we lost tonight, but at least we beat the Bruins on Saturday," but now I don't need to. :D

It is like a Comet ... rare ... but they do come around once in a blue moon. :cool:

another random performance by the sharks-who knows what team we will see Thursday....

Tonights team? The team that played lazy in Montreal ? The Team that got hamered by Detroit? Or the team that pounded the hawks? Only time will tell...

Today on HockeyCentral, they were talking about how no one is really talking about the Sharks. They thought it was a little weird/interesting/puzzling that their lack of success this season isn't an issue that is being covered more by the hockey media.

I don't think so (yet)

Our problem has been simply pathetic Defense and lousy work ethic. We can beat everyone like we did tonight-yet for some reason we decide not too-we have had sparks where we do but we just cannot put two full effort games together-my worry is if we are in the same boat in a month, the wrong person or persons will take the fall when the problem is the men on the ice, not those in suits.

Hopefully the Leafs will have a good game. We played Pittsburgh last night, and tonight will be our third game in four nights, so I can see them being tired. However, Phaneuf is making his return to the lineup after sitting out a few weeks with a lacerated thigh, so hopefully that will give the team a boost.

Which Leafs team will show up..... the one that beat the Bruins and Caps, or the one that lost to the Pens?:rolleyes:

Pronger's out for 4 to 6 weeks (foot).We are pretty deep on the blue line so we should be all right ;) Will see...:rolleyes: The Rangers today in our barn :D

Good episode last night. I'm really enjoying this show. Unfortunately, I'm going on vacation next week, so I'll have to record it. I'm not sure if the condo we're renting has HBO.

I hope they make more of these next season about some other teams....
