I really hope they saved some of that for this western road-trip.

They're here in LA tonight.....unfortunately, no one invited me to the game yet.:eek:;)

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to go:(, I have way too much to do (packing for a move this week). I'll obviously watch it on TV though.


I finally got a chance to watch the last couple of episodes of 24/7. That was a great series. I hope they do it again next season. Only thing is that I had to record the last episode on a repeat night, and it was all censored! It just wasn't the same with all the F*#& coming out of Brucie's mouth. :p

Did anyone else find that the show framed the Penguins as the good guys, and the Capitals as the bad guys? To me, they also made it seem like Bylsma is a professional, sophisticated coach, and Boudreau is a crass, simpleton.

To me Bylsma is an jackass, a little too serious:rolleyes: Boudreau reminds me of myself;) It's only a freak'n game...:D

I wonder if it had anything to do with being the Winter Classic? That is, will the NHL just quietly fine him or something, as to not draw attention away from the game and dissuade anyone from not watching more games? That said it was pretty blindsided and was against a star player-I can say that if this was just another game, Steckel gets 4/5.

Just my two pucks...
 
^^^^I really don't know what the reason is. Only thing I can think of is I believe that when there is no original penalty called on the play, the league office doesn't review it.



I've got the Leafs @ Kings game on TV, I've got a couple of Guinness, and I've got some pretzels. A chilled way to spend the evening......

I beg of you to pound us. Nothing is working for us-we have been chewed out by our coach, gm and each other-privately and publicly. If you could put up 10 or 12 that would be great.

Oh-and the "All-Star" roster is pathetic (looking at you Claude Giroux, Brett Burns, Kris Letang, Erik Karlsson, Marc Staal)

I hope we can oblige. Hopefully my boys gained some confidence from last night's victory.

Oh, and don't get me started on the "Somewhat-Star" roster.:rolleyes:

Actually, I'll start: Where the F is Zetterberg? He's only tied for 6th in the league in points, 4th overall for assists, and 3rd overall for shots on goal.:rolleyes:

Thats too bad Surely ... I am watching it on Rogers Sportsnet here in Toronto.

We are playing well and getting some good chances. I see us coming out on top when this is over. :cool:
 
Ah, Sportsnet.....

I still listen to HockeyCentral on the Fan590 everyday...... either live, or via podcast. The TuneIn Radio app is awesome.... let's me listen to the Fan whenever I want. The only problem is the 3 hour difference.

Brady's a good host, but I miss Millard and the old format of the show. Kypreos and MacLean are great.... I love it when they argue.
 
The Fan590 has a TV show ... it is basically the same show ... but you actually see them doing the Talk show.

I know...... I used to watch it when I lived in Toronto. They (used to?) do it for Primetime Sports as well.

I moved to LA in 2008.


I hope Reimer has a good game. He played really well last night. The team played really well in front of him. Hopefully he can step up and BB can dump Gigueire (sorry Giggy). 29 shots already!

I agree, RW winning his 600th is much more of a killer for you guys. Sucks dude, the core of your team needs to be blown up.

42 shots on goal by you guys! Our rookie goalie is playing so well...... hopefully this kid is the real deal.

As a Bruins fan I'm not liking it lol. I want another lottery pick!! The B's need to get the top D prospect to go along with Seguin, who by the way, had an absolute snipe last night. Oh, and Bergeron got his first career hat trick. He is one of the most underrated players in the league.

Last years lottery pick going to a team that had been 1 game away from the Eastern Conference Finals two years in a row wasn't fair. Getting one two years in a row would just be hilarious. Toronto is tied for 5th worst in the league with 40 points right now, so it's looking good. I'll take a top 10 pick even, I don't care lol.
