Well, he is a D-man. No one on the ice had more than 3 shots that game besides Gaborik. I'm more concerned about Kessel.
Pronger will provide a nice boost for your boys. He created the chemistry.
Nice one against the Ducks last night
Peace

Why are we not starting Reimer in net? ... against Washington to boot.
Giguere should be down in the minors for a while.![]()
Giggy played well and won the last game. He deserves the start.
I'm watching the game right now..... I recorded it, so don't ruin it by posting the score!![]()
no problem ... I like Reimer and the more he plays ... the better chance to be a Starter![]()
The Blackhawks mopped the floor with Detroit today. I think they'll make it to the playoffs, but don't know how far they'll go, which makes me sad. Salary caps suck. We should have been able to keep our team in Chicago.
Bruins had a solid win in Colorado yesterday. Lucic got 2 more goals, dude has 19 on the season now... which is 3 more than Oveckin. He's a beast.
Brad Marchand had 2 goals and 2 assists, getting to 12 goals on the season. He's a midget and he's nasty, whats not to like?
How could I not agree.
If Savard's brain doesn't turn to mush and Seguin learns how to get through the D, the team could go far.

At this point, Savard needs to retire. No game is worth the kind of damage that his brain is going through. He's clearly prone to concussions.
Just like Brett Lindros (I used to hang out with that guy), he needs to retire before things get any worse and just enjoy the money he's already made.
And the Flyers mopped the floor with the Hawks todayWhat's your point...

You can't really be prone to concussions... he's pretty much just unlucky. Yes, getting repeated concussions is extremely bad for you, but getting a concussion doesn't make you more prone to them in the future.
And anyone who has had a concussion is at higher risk of having concussions in the future.
I'm done with Savard. He's played like **** since he got back. The Ryder-Savard-Horton line was absolute crap out there on the ice. I wish there was still a trade market for Savard, but there isn't. I just want him off this team.
Without him, we'll be fine. That line was listed as the "first" line, but in reality they were playing as a third line. Since they were put together, the Recchi-Bergeron-Marchand line has been tearing it up. They have been playing phenomenal. Additionally, the Lucic-Krejci-x line has been great, mostly because Looch and Krejci are filthy. They had Seguin on that line when Savard was playing, but with him out, you put Horton back on there to reunite the top line we started the year with. Maybe Looch and Krejci can get Horton going. With that, it leaves you with Wheeler-Seguin-Ryder for the third line, with either Wheels or Seguin centering. Paille dresses for the 4th line, or you could bring up Caron/Colborne/Hamill from Providence.
This leaves you with:
Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Recchi-Bergeron-Marchand
Seguin-Wheeler-Ryder
Paille-Campbell-Thornton
That looks pretty good to me. As far as Seguin goes, remember he's still just 18 years old. Give him a couple of years

Pretty much agree all around. However, Seguin might benefit from some time in Providence. Being fast is only part of the solution. Anyway, we shall see. I'll be there Wednesday night against the Panthers.
You cant play in the AHL if you're under 20. It's either the NHL or back to juniors for him. He tore up juniors, there's nothing left for him to learn there. The best place for him is right where he is.
