Well, he is a D-man. No one on the ice had more than 3 shots that game besides Gaborik. I'm more concerned about Kessel.

Pronger will provide a nice boost for your boys. He created the chemistry.

Nice one against the Ducks last night:cool: The two for Grabovski were cool. Dude, you got some good young talent on your team;) Hang in there...;)
Peace

It was a well-played game by my boys. The game was on TV here, so I got to enjoy a good one.

I wish Phaneuf could play like that every game.

Grabovski, MacArthur, and Kulemin are a fantastic line. They're on fire. Graby's goals were so nice.

Good for Giggy to get the win against his old team. The commentators said that he played against the Ducks once before he was a Duck, when he was on Calgary. He won that game too. So he's undefeated against the Ducks.:p

Go Leafs.....

Looks like Foppa is going to try another comeback with the Avs......

Why are we not starting Reimer in net? ... against Washington to boot.

Giguere should be down in the minors for a while.

Giggy played well and won the last game. He deserves the start.

I'm watching the game right now..... I recorded it, so don't ruin it by posting the score!:p

no problem ... I like Reimer and the more he plays ... the better chance to be a Starter

Giggy is the proven winner......also, they need to showcase him if they want to trade him and get anything of value back. Only way to do that is to play him.

Dammit.....friggin' Ovechkin.

Great game between the Flames/Canucks tonight. Flames won when Tanguay's shootout goal was stuck in Luongo's pads, and Luongo's pads slid across the line.

Back-to-back wins against two quality teams after that Minn game, and I have a bit of hope now for my team.

Bruins had a solid win in Colorado yesterday. Lucic got 2 more goals, dude has 19 on the season now... which is 3 more than Oveckin. He's a beast.

Brad Marchand had 2 goals and 2 assists, getting to 12 goals on the season. He's a midget and he's nasty, whats not to like?

Is anyone else annoyed that Floppa just won't go away?

I am just sick and tired of his wavering and indecision-either quit or play-don't claim you want to then two weeks later back out because your body says no. If your body says no that means its time to hang em' up

The Blackhawks mopped the floor with Detroit today. I think they'll make it to the playoffs, but don't know how far they'll go, which makes me sad. Salary caps suck. We should have been able to keep our team in Chicago.

And the Flyers mopped the floor with the Hawks today:D;) What's your point...

How could I not agree. :p

If Savard's brain doesn't turn to mush and Seguin learns how to get through the D, the team could go far.

At this point, Savard needs to retire. No game is worth the kind of damage that his brain is going through. He's clearly prone to concussions.

Just like Brett Lindros (I used to hang out with that guy :p), he needs to retire before things get any worse and just enjoy the money he's already made.

I'm done with Savard. He's played like **** since he got back. The Ryder-Savard-Horton line was absolute crap out there on the ice. I wish there was still a trade market for Savard, but there isn't. I just want him off this team.

Without him, we'll be fine. That line was listed as the "first" line, but in reality they were playing as a third line. Since they were put together, the Recchi-Bergeron-Marchand line has been tearing it up. They have been playing phenomenal. Additionally, the Lucic-Krejci-x line has been great, mostly because Looch and Krejci are filthy. They had Seguin on that line when Savard was playing, but with him out, you put Horton back on there to reunite the top line we started the year with. Maybe Looch and Krejci can get Horton going. With that, it leaves you with Wheeler-Seguin-Ryder for the third line, with either Wheels or Seguin centering. Paille dresses for the 4th line, or you could bring up Caron/Colborne/Hamill from Providence.

This leaves you with:

Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Recchi-Bergeron-Marchand
Seguin-Wheeler-Ryder
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

That looks pretty good to me. As far as Seguin goes, remember he's still just 18 years old. Give him a couple of years :p

You can't really be prone to concussions... he's pretty much just unlucky. Yes, getting repeated concussions is extremely bad for you, but getting a concussion doesn't make you more prone to them in the future.

Pretty much agree all around. However, Seguin might benefit from some time in Providence. Being fast is only part of the solution. Anyway, we shall see. I'll be there Wednesday night against the Panthers.

Sorry to double post but this just in:

Statement from Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli Regarding Marc Savard
"After being examined by the Bruins medical staff today, Marc has been diagnosed with a moderate concussion. There is no timetable on his return and no further updates at this time."

You cant play in the AHL if you're under 20. It's either the NHL or back to juniors for him. He tore up juniors, there's nothing left for him to learn there. The best place for him is right where he is.

18!?!?

I wonder what the percentage of players in the NHL is between the ages of 18-25. I wouldn't be suprised if it is a very large #.

Am I the only one who thinks the All-star weekend is becoming a bigger and bigger joke ? All this hope and excitement about a new format, a fantasy draft-are frankly done with the biggest marketing jewel not attending.

This makes me want to go back and watch Al Macinnis launch rockets, watch Ray Bourque shoot pucks like a surgeon, or a younge Broudeur stop shot after shot.

How did you meet him?
