Every once in a while at pick ups we get these old guys pop in with the raggiest of equipment. They are usually expros whether it b minors or nhlers.

They are simply amazing.

Wife: great I have to work, ill see if I can jget out of it
Wife: what time is the game?
Me: 8
Wife: ok Im going to get outmof it so we can go.
Me: No, u have that wrong. You need to get out of it IF YOU want to go:)
Wife: let's talk about it tonight

Haha - You're welcome, glad I could set up a family fight and a playoff game all in one. I'll be enjoying the game on my new Slingbox from somewhere in Seoul.

I'm taking my wife on Saturday night -- she gets first right of refusal on my second ticket. Happy Wife, Happy Life. ;)

Oh I whole heartily agree with the wife as having first dibs.
However, if the unfortunate situation arises where she has to work, I will feel bad while I am sitting in loge 14 :eek:
Well maybe just in between periods and during tv timeouts.

I wonder if she'll be thinking of me next weekend on the cape with her friends, lol
 
I forgot to mention.....these backhand shot goals were unreal:


I think that if Cleary and Bertuzzi weren't injured during the game last night, the Wings would have won. Good on the Sharks to take advantage, however, I think that their great start to the game is what really killed the Wings.

Yeah, you're going to hate it. :D

The woman at the bottom left in row 2 (next to the guy with the fancy signed LB hat) was the one I mentioned got hit in the side of the head with a puck. Tough feat sitting there but she managed it. I've had to duck a few times...

I agree. Not having half of your 2nd and 3rd line options (in Wing terms that is) is something that not even the wings can overcome.

And yes those were incredible backhands-not even a dominic hasek slinky neck/header could save it

That Cleary collision was frightening-I actually thought it was head on head until I saw the replay, which wasn't much better.

those sucker punches thrown by Lucic and Horton with 36 seconds left is just poor sportsmanship ... I hope Boston gets swept

plus they now deserve to have Kaberle

Yeah that was just stupid. It was a pretty decent game, apart from Boston falling apart for two minutes. Once they learned how to play hockey again, the game was pretty good. Tampa should take this in 4, but I'll say 5 games.

I left with 2 mins to go so I haven't seen that yet. There were some dirty plays both ways. I liked when Roloson took his stick and took out Horton's skates after the whistle.

Anyway, not an outstanding effort. We were Kaberled again though that wasn't the entire disaster. Tampa looks good and the B's will need to step it up.

EDIT: You know how there is always a few fans with signs? One of the signs last night read:
"I'm from Toronto and I came here to see what the playoffs were like"

I tried to grab a pic of it but couldn't find him after he was off the big screen. I thought Surely would like that ;)

This is the problem with bringing one's wife to the game. She was ready to leave with 6 mins left. Once the EN goal went in with 3 or so left I started thinking -- we'll, I can beat the traffic :(. She did offer to stay until the end to be fair. First playoff game I've seen live that they lost so I was bummed.
