I totally understand;).That why I never bring my wife to Flyer's games,all she does in beef and moan;) You would think for as much as you paid for tickets they would want to hang:cool:

So I am not going to whine about the refs because that would just be a cop-out for a team that frankly did not look great and scored two goals because a) Luongo didnt see #19 and b)our one and only PP was successful because Marleau was more open that he will ever be ever again in this series. We went into a prevent D and that cannot, will not, and has not ever worked against anyone. Vancouver was hustling, hitting and moving the puck-and that was just in the first period.

I really hope we put in a better effort, otherwise we will see the same result as last year.

You're welcome -- seeing 5 B's goals in the 2nd period didn't hurt much I'm guessing especially the breakaway goal from Seguin. Too bad that idiot in front of you on the glass wearing the Lucic shirt wouldn't sit down ('capped him in the pic below with his hand up)

Interesting game overall -- and yes I was definitely nervous at the end. Hopefully the Bs have found a way past Roloson but the D needs to step it up.

(The Slingbox solution worked fantastically from Korea)

I am looking at that picture and thinking where are all the hot girls that were there throughout the game?

That guy definitely made a name for himself with everyone in that section.

Do you know the season ticket holder next to you? Brent ?

He sold his tickets too.

Those people got a better deal than I:eek:

Seguins goal was unreal, watching unfold from 60ft away was even better. Roloson looked like he got rolled and his wallet picked.

Hey there - Glad you had a good time. I don't know the people next to me because I just moved from row 8 to row 7 for these playoffs (and next year) (which side btw)?

Interesting that they got a better deal - my tickets were exactly face value - which is on your ticket and the ones coming by mail. Did he sell them for under cost? Good man if he did.

Like I said, I'm not out to make money on my seats just cover my costs. Game 5 tickets come out today. I have to travel to San Jose next week but I'm trying to delay it until Tuesday so that I can make the game.

Anyway, at any cost that game was worth the money. 5 goals from the Bs in one quarter right in front of you! DAMN - that hasn't happened in a playoff game for a VERY long time. And the Rook getting 4 pts. Crazy.
 
Bolt's got out played big time. The Bruin's had a ton of scoring chances but could not finish:confused: They looked a little shaky in the third:rolleyes: The score should have 10-5 :rolleyes: And once again Thomas stood on his head;)

I love that kid Seguin;) Where was he in the first round?

I was only kidding about the price. I have no qualms about our transaction. If you didn't post here I would have watched the game on my 54 " plasma. generally i don't buy tix off of craigs list.

Apparently he desperately sold his tix that afternoon most likely craigs list.

love going to the games, you see the behind the play action.

If you can't go let me know :D

Seguin has been a healthy scratch throughout the season.
Baffling to me. The kid needs to play to learn.
Game 1 he played under 6 minutes?
Nobody can contribute playing maybe 12 to 14 shifts

I HATE those guys. I especially hate those guys that always stand up, turn around, and wave wildly with both arms when they think that the camera is pointed in their direction. And they're usually on their cellphone: "Do you see me?" "Yeah, I see you....you're the moron waving wildly with his back to the ice instead of watching the game.":rolleyes:

I think the Bolts will rebound from the loss and kick it up for the next game. Every team has a bad game, and I pretty much saw it coming after winning 8 in a row.

Blame Julien. Not the greatest coach in the league. I think the Bruins are winning in spite of him. Seguin is playing by accident......only because Bergeron isn't. If Bergeron was ready to play in game 1, Seguin would still be sitting in the press box.

Good for Seguin, I hope he can keep it up and be a big star in the league.:)

I agree 100%.
Detroit comes to town, seguin is scratched.
Say what? You put him out there so he can how it is playing against a true puck possession team with some of the shiftiest forwards and smartest d man in the league.
Seguin needs to be schooled. Unfortunately that's not going to happen until his next team.
Anyone know what happened to an old first round draft pick, what was his name, Joe something.
History will repeat itself.

Sorry for being Captain Literal -- must be the jetlag. I was wondering if the Bruins had somehow screwed me and there was a way to get better prices!!

I only buy/sell things on craigslist because I can go to the transaction heavily armed. ;)

For the last ~20 games of the season he wasn't so great. He would skate right into a defender and they would quickly and easily bump him off of the puck and take it from him. He had no goals in the last ~20 games and could only seem to score in a shootout (could have been scratched, I didn't look up the stats). I believe that Stamkos had limited playing time in his debut year and then had really taken off.

I think the plan that they have for Seguin is going pretty well actually. If the kid has a dud game in the conference finals people would be all over him... but he has incredible talent and can clearly light it up sometimes. I think watching the game of hockey being played from above was very good for him -- and made him hungry to get in. He's in the league now where is not guaranteed as much ice time has he used to get when he dominated. At 19 he doesn't even know what he doesn't know and the team has to educate him slowly.

My personal opinion is that they should consider getting him out there on the 4th line and sitting Thornton for a couple of games (if Bergeron comes back). Against the Bolts I believe that Seguin can have more impact because the fast, light-hitting style fits his game and he is far more of a scoring threat than Thornton. (just as bruinsrme said above.

Don't get me wrong, I like Thornton just fine and I'll probably get abused by this, but he won't have an impact against Tampa because he doesn't score as well. (and there won't be any enforcer role needed)

whew - that even tired me out. Back to enjoying my jetlag.
 
I know as I am typing this there is 10 minutes to go, but I am just sad. We look sloppy, lazy, incompetent, stupid and unfocused. This is not the team that beat Detroit and LA-this is the team that lost 5 straight in Jan/Feb and nearly missed the playoffs until they caught fire. Vancouver is simply outworking, outplaying and out everything us-we have no business playing against this team-they are playing like they gave a crap and we aren't.

Its that simple

OH and stupid and unnecessary penalties (warranted or not) are killing us.
 
Well, keep playing like that Sharks. We could use the extra rest, lol. I wonder what Eager was thinking tonight? I think he spent more time in the box than on the ice, and who taunts a goalie when you're still losing 7-3?

I don't get to see a lot of Canucks games but damn I'm impressed:D Granted it was against the Sharks 4th line. The Sedin twins put on a clinic behind and in front of the net;) And Vancouver's D can actually skate:cool:

What can I say about Ben Eager:eek: That's why the Flyers dumped him a long time ago;)
