wow - you guys woke up. Just enjoying the club at the Denver International Airport... hoping to get in early enough to get all of my business done and be at the watering hole by 5pm PDT...

They're at 7,158 right now.

General sale to the public begins today at noon.

I stand by my prediction of reaching their goal by Monday or Tuesday.

I wouldn't call the Winnipeg return a fiasco. It has allowed them to heal as a city, no?:D

Heh, are you kidding? I know some people in Winnipeg, and they're all nervously clicking F5 on the Drive to 13 website hoping they'll be able to score season tickets. They'll definitely sell the remaining tickets by the time Game 2 of the Finals start. Some are saying it'll sell out in less than an hour.

EDIT: All 13,000 tickets have now been sold. Wow! Way to go Winnipeg! Apparently, according to their twitter page, they sold out their tickets in 17 minutes.

I'm happy for Winterpeg, but still hate the NHL Governors/Bettman with a passion.

Sorry, but there you have it.

Go Moose/Jets/whatever. ;)

I love watching Tim Thomas' style. But this is an occasion where he could have trusted his D and stayed a little bit deeper. Good for Burrows. He has been clutch for us.

Thomas is a beast...;) And as for Burrows, maybe went he retires he could audition for " True Blood "

Can someone tell me why Chara didnt throw burrows through the boards and onto the street? I mean yes he might have gotten a penalty, but at least you may have had a chance to win.

Absolutely!

I can't think of a game yet where I've walked away without a mark on me. They're my badges of honor. People at the office look at me with horror some days "What the hell happened this time"?, but I just say this, "It's OK. It's just hockey. You know what that black bruise means? It means a puck did not get past me." They just look at me weird and say, "Um...oh...kay..."

BTW- sorry about your luck, Bruins fans. :)

Maybe because he's caused enough damage already

Chara looked tired out there. I bet he couldn't of even knocked over Burrows if he tried tonight. He definitely had one of his worst games of the playoffs. I'd expect him to play much better next game at home.

I am guessing that was your age when they "left"?? :)

Otherwise, if you're 11 now, you joined MR when you were in your Terrible Twos. :p

I feeeeel too old to be 11. so the first one! Some of my family that went to the very last Jets' NHL games are also bought season tickets for Winnipeg's new NHL team, I'm trying to buy some tickets off them, but sounds like I'm most likely to get Florida Panthers game tix. I'll just save some money and see "Jets" play in Montreal or elsewhere.

As a Manitoba Moose fan, Go Nucks Go!

I got to see Schneider and Hodgson play for the Calder Cup in '09. Alot of the Nucks at one point or another played in Winnipeg. Jets getting a team plus Canucks winning the cup with several Moose players = awwwww yeah!

hows your heart rate?

You still breathing?

Fortunately the windows in this hotel don't open...

Honestly -- I think he's too aggressive for the D he has in front of him. Except for one goal that snuck in they have all been with him too far out of position in my opinion. Vancouver has his number right now and they need to get their act together.

It was good to see some vulnerability in Luongo last night for the first time. Took 89 mins to get one past him.

I'm going to have to watch games 3 & 4 on delay but happy about the price I got for my seats right now.

Thomas's style reminds be a bit of Hasek and Roy-in that both Roy and Hasek were very aggressive and their Defense had to be alert all the time and had to make sure that if a challenge by their goalie, someone was always there to back them up. In most cases it seems that the Bruins have that but sometimes they fail to.

I think the Bruins have to stop letting the Canucks dicate the flow of the game. That seems to be how they are winning. By making their opponents play at Vancouver's speed and flow, you get tired out and are chasing pucks all night-they ware you down until they finally strike. If you don't let them control how the game flows, they are beatable. If you don't you end up like everyone else-chasing them around the ice.

And Mike Keane! Awesome.

You're forgetting Hextall. He was as aggressive as they came.

Chara was definitely way too tired by the end of that game. He played over 28 minutes that's almost half the game! Julien needs to stop overusing him if he wants Chara to be effective.

At least we don't have to wait 4 days before the next game!

Hahaha :p:

Except that Hextall was a psycho and if you even skated near his crease his stick would meet your balls-Hasek and Thomas don't do that(at least to my knowledge, though I know Roy has done it)

True enough....... but I was comparing Thomas' head-first dive at Burrows to how I remember Hextall played.

On the plus side, Kaberle wasn't on the ice during the game winner.:p

Surely
I finally got to watch the replay of game two and I didn't realize how freak'n fast the Canuck's are;) Granted the Bruin's played real sloppy in their own zone;) Will see what happens in Boston tonight:D

And dude, don't ever talk **** about Hexy:rolleyes: Besides Bernie, Hexy was the ONLY goalie we ever had;)
