Not a fan of either, but a Boise vs. Oregon for the national title would shake the BCS foundation forcing a playoff. I know this can't happen but it would be nice.

Well Boise should be dropping in ranks again next week. Their week ass schedule is why they get it.
TCU should jump over Boise at some point. Big time after they beat Utah.

Well OU is down by 10. with 5 mins to go.
Looks like OU is showing yet again that is badly over rated and does not belong at the top of the rankings.

Maybe no one will want to be crowned number one the way they have all been dropping like flies. Very strange and interesting season. Man could you imagine an Oregon-Boise State match up. The over-under would be astronomical.

Sweet another over rated team taken down. I really hope either TCU or Bois is number 2 this year. All that needs to happen either or Organ or Auburn to lose a game.

100% agree with what you said. OU has talent but as previously stated they have flaws and those were exposed tonight.

@Tomorrow - this is exactly what our bit of dialogue was about a few days back. Murray's 12/49 showing necessitated Jones attempting 50 passes. Definitely not the way that offense is designed to run.

Look for Auburn to make the jump to #2 in the polls and the new BCS #1
And the Heisman is now Cam Newton's to lose

Auburn gets Ole Miss, Chattanooga, the Dawgs and Bama
Bama gets LSU, Mississippi State, Georgia State and Auburn
If Bama takes care of business, the Iron Bowl will be for the West Championship
And nobody from the East is likely to take either of them down

On a side note, the Dawgs have won 3 in a row and put up 40+ in each
We get the Gators next week
The East is still wide open with the Dawgs and Gators with 3 conference losses
And South Carolina with 2 conference losses
South Carolina still has Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida
The Dawgs still have Florida and Auburn

Don't count the Dawgs out yet, they are playing strong now

Are you saying that you think Auburn will jump all the way to #1 overall in the BCS, or just in the computer component of it? I definitely see them jumping all the way to #1 in the computer component (they were the #3 computer ranked team and beat LSU, the #2 computer ranked team), but do you think that they will move that far up in the "human" polls? They were #5 in each of them, and would have to make a decent jump in those to get to #1 overall (even though I think that they ARE the best team in the nation so far).

And as bad as I hate to say it (being Ga Tech through and through), the Dawgs are playing great ball now. They seem to have really come into their own. I think that they will beat Fla and Ga Tech pretty easily, and with some help from S Carolina, could win the east still.

Well one thing I have to say that I forgot is I am glad TTU pulled out a win by 3 points. It look very early on that they were going to suffer yet another loss.

It is a sad day that in the Big 12 south right now Baylor has the best record. I mean come on BAYLOR the big 12 wipping boy has 3-1 record in the big 12.

Oh and HOLY CRAP I just figure out Baylor is going to a Bowl game this year. HOLY CRAP. Baylor I do not think has been bowl eligible since the before the big 12.

UT and TTU are going to struggling to go to a bowl game this year and Baylor has already lock on in.

Texas A&M out look for going to a bowl game are looking pretty dim. All just finished their last give me win. Now they have to some how fight to win 2 of their last few games. Though UT, TTU both look like the best candidates for that based on how things are going.

Baylor is doing it with smoke and mirrors. They play at UT, at Okie State, at home against A&M, and at home against OU. I think 7-5 (4-4) is the best that can do and 6-6 (3-5) is likely.

Their last bowl was the 1994 Alamo Bowl against Washington State. Their last bowl win was the 1992 Sun Bowl against Arizona.

A&M will almost certainly be favored against a poor Texas Tech team at home next weekend, but we've been favored in every game except Arkansas so far this year and it hasn't meant much.

It's hard to say how the Ags will play the rest of the season. Even after blowing the game against OSU and short-circuiting offensively against Arkansas, I still thought 8-4 was very doable for A&M. After getting hammered by Mizzou, though, any confidence I had went out the window.

It was nice to get a lopsided (45-10) win over a very bad Kansas team, but that game doesn't really do anything to restore my confidence. That being said, however, Sherman finally made a move at QB and played Ryan Tannehill for a good part of the game. If he plays the rest of the season—and plays well—it could make a dramatic difference.

I think Oregon will be #1 across the board (AP, USA Today, BCS) and Auburn will be #2.

And the Heisman is now Cam Newton's to lose

Yesterday's performance definitely puts Newton at the top of the list, but I think his performance against Alabama will be the real make-or-break game for him.

Yes, but it is his to lose at this point
I don't think anyone else is close right now

Oh do not get my wrong I fully expect Baylor to start losing game. It is just sad and funning that in the big 12 south right now they have the best record. Something that really never happen 4 games into conference play.
And they have lock into a bowl game. Compared to the other Texas schools that have an expectingly high chances of not making it.

Does not change the fact that the out look for A&M going to a bowl game has become a long shot. They have UT, TTU, Baylor, OU and Nebraska left to go.
They some how have to win 2 of those games. If they had to win 1 I would say they have a good chance. But the fact that they have to win 2 it looks pretty dim.
While TTU has 2 games left to go they have 3 games they have a good chance of winning in their last 5.

UT has at least 3 games they have fair chance of winning in their last 5 so they have a good chance.

Lastly it is still sad that at this point BAYLOR is the only Texas school in the big 12 that has a lock on a bowl game. It is just sad.

Fair point, but Tech gave up 51 points to Iowa State, so none of their remaining games (other than against I-AA Weber State) is anywhere close to a given.

If A&M beats Tech at Kyle Field on Saturday (and they should) and Baylor loses to UT (and they should), Tech will be in trouble to make a bowl and the Aggies outlook will be much better.

While true. They have a given against Weber. UofH is in pretty bad shape right now as they are currently on their 4th string QB. 1st and 2nd string were injured and out for the season in the 1st quarter of the first game. 3 string was yanked because of how bad he was and 4th string has been running the show this season.

So basicly TTU has to beat a bang up UofH team or A&M. I say they have a good chance of beating at least one of them.
Like you said they do not have 2 given games. They do have 1 given and 2 they have a fair shot at winning.

This compared to A&M that has 1 game they have a fair shot at winning (TTU) and the rest they have to fight for.

I guess we just have a difference of opinion (no shocker there).

From my viewpoint, A&M still has very winnable games left vs. Tech at home, at Baylor, and at UT. They will almost certainly lose to OU and Nebraska, but both of those games are at home and neither has proved as invulnerable as they previously looked.

As for Tech's situation, they should be able to get to 6-6, but UH is no pushover despite their QB issues. They dominated SMU last night. Tech eeked past that same SMU team and even TCU struggled with the Ponies before putting them away late.

Like I said before, the winner of A&M-Tech next weekend can breathe a little easier while the loser will have to struggle to make it to a bowl.

^^it's dang near against my religion but I'll be rooting for the Aggies in that one. Tech wasn't very fair to Leach on his exit IMO and the karma bug should give 'em a pinch.

New rankings. I really do not want yet another Boise vs TCU BCS game.

4 TCU 8-0
5 Michigan State 8-0
6 Missouri 7-0

10 Wisconsin 7-1
11 Ohio State 7-1
12 LSU 7-1
13 Stanford 6-1
14 Nebraska 6-1

It's exactly the way the offense is designed to run. 300 passing yards and 100 rushing yards is hardly imbalanced, and Jones averages 42 attempts per game - by not always playing the entire game. You continue to make my point.

OU lost by making too many mistakes against an outstanding team.
