It's freaking hilarious how each sport's athletes are all the exact same base statue, with just different jersey numbers and different color skin paint! I can't believe they spent money on those horrendous things.

Hey steve2112-

Check out how Cam Newton got away from Mississippi State.

This is weird stuff. One of the MSU message boards I read has been saying for months that the Newton family had been paid $200k. I chalked it up to bitterness at losing Newton. Then, a month or so ago, one guy posts that John Bond had been contacted about Newton, and rumors of $200k payments were running around. That one caught my attention, since it was so specific and named names, but again I was wary. Guess the poster did know what he was talking about.

Those are some ugly pics

And sadly, I tend to believe the Cam Newton story
Especially after reading the the SI agent story I posted earlier

I know the ACC is irrelevant, but always tough to see a team lose their QB*
Ga Tech's Nesbitt was the "bees" offense and team
Without him, they are worse than Notre Dame

*hopes he doesn't make it back for the Dawg's game

Thanks for wishing that on us MacDawg!

Looks like he's out for the season, or at least until the bowl season.

You got your wish Mac! Look what you did! :D Nesbitt is our total offense, and has more will/heart than any player I've seen at Tech in a long time. But, Washington didn't look too bad coming in as his backup, once he got settled in and warmed up. Those last two drives weren't bad at all for a guy who's had like 4 snaps in-game all season. He seems to be more of a passing threat than Nesbitt's been this year, so now that Washington will be practicing full time with the 1st string offense, maybe they will get their timing down with him (timing and familiarity with the QB is crucial in an option offense, where everything is based off the QB and his decisions). He might not pan out to be too bad, and will get some added in game experience this year before becoming the starter next year. Our season is basically done anyway, as far as anything meaningful is concerned. Of course we still have the UGA game, but I got a feeling AJ Green will dominate it, since we can't pass defend for sh**. Maybe I should wish that Green will have a minor injury and miss that game, eh MacDawg? Can I borrow your magic lamp? :D

^^^ LOL. I don't know what to tell you, man. Your post is the first I've heard about them. Friggin' scary!

Slightly off topic but Finish Line currently has ALL collegiate fleece hoodie/sweatshirts on sale at 2 for $40 through end of the year. Stock up before it gets too cold folks. ;)

Wasn't this game gonna be on Versus anyway?

Quick question; does VERSUS have a contract with the MWC or do they just show ALL games that have quasi-National relevance? Just recently got DirecTV and notice a pretty diverse variety of games on there.

The MWC has TV contracts with Versus and CBS College Sports, and they have their own network (The Mtn), which is run by Comcast (I think) and CBS-C.

Versus has a deal with the MWC, but they aren't limited to showing games from that conference. They also have a deal with FSN to let them show some games from the Big 12 and PAC-10.

I can't believe UCF could potentially become a BCS team via the Big Least.

In other news, it looks like we better watch ourselves in here from now on...

Well so much for hoping Balylor wins the Big 12 south. It just got is ass handed to them.

This is a screwed up year for the Texas Big 12 schools. Something is really wrong when Balyor is doing by far better than any of them.

Stony Brook at Presbyterian
Western Carolina at Furman
Pennsylvania at Princeton

Ugh! That sucks. :( I found the TCU game on a standard definition CBS-College Sports channel that I didn't even know I had. CBS itself is showing Alabama-LSU.

TCU's meatball of a punter is hilarious. 6'4" and 280? Daaaaaamn!
