Aaron Rodgers isn't human.

In my opinion, the vote for best QB in the NFL is easily Rodgers.

1. Aaron Rodgers

2. Aaron Rodgers sick

3. Tom Brady

And how about TJ Yates?? That kid marched his team down the field and into the playoffs with a few seconds left. Unfortunately, that's all going to be overshadowed.

Eh, NBC is talking about it some. Like to see what ESPN says about him later on.

Let's get another win next week and do a better job going about it and then we can truly see the politics that is professional sports.

Not at all. Now can you be a dear and go get me a beer? Thanks!

We'll see. But honestly, I think the Texans are at the point where any win is a good win when they have a rookie 3rd string QB starting. But I get you - a little less ugly.

The defense kept them in it - that turnover was huge in getting them back in the game.

Yet Tom Brady is still the MVP.

Take Rodgers off the Packers, they still have a good team, they'd probably make the playoffs.

Take Brady off the Patriots... well you all saw what happened to Indy this year.

And if you take Tim Tebow off the Broncos, they cease to exist.

Broncos win their 6th in a row and their 3rd overtime win this season. Another great team effort and a huge game from my fellow Central Florida graduate - Matt Prater: 59 yard field goal to tie the game, and a 51 yard field goal to win the game!!!

that's a horrible justification for the award. it's technically the most valuable player. not the most valuable player to their team. That means that they're the best player in the league. If the worst thing you can say about aaron rodgers is that he has a great team around him then its even more clear he deserves the award. great players make other players better by sheer association.

One would think the MVP would go to the player that if they left would cause the teams W's to turn into L's.

The problem is the word valuable is open to way too much interpretation. I think it means which player is the best regardless of who they do it with. Historically, the MVP has always gone to a player on a team that at least makes the playoffs (I'm sure there's more than a couple exceptions) but players should not be "penalized" in a competition like this because the players around them are special too. It's not their fault the organization put the right people together. Like I said, great players make the players around them better.
