its game day! is everyone excited? :D

The games will be interesting, but even though the attention must be most on Pats-Broncos, it's likely that's the game that will be the most boring. I expect that to be 31-10 if the Pats have all pistons firing like the commentators have said. I don't expect anything to hinder New England.

The Pats will take the early lead and extend it every quarter and they will possess the ball most of the game. This game will be over in the 2nd quarter though I would like to see a close game. Tebow may have a shining moment or two, but the Broncos will not be able to finish their drives.

I can barely sit still. I predict Gronkowski is going to have a monster game. Go Patriots!

I'm so conflicted.

Bruins at 7
Celtics at 7
Patriots at 730 (8 by the time the NFL does all their pre game ********)

I'm closing the lounge at my work, so at least I'll be able to pay attention a little bit. Hopefully I can get my dumbass bartenders to get the Bruins on at least one TV. Everyone's going to want to watch the Pats, even though they haven't won a playoff game since 2007 and the Bruins are the reigning champs.

I am.

Saints 27 San Francisco 17

Patriots 44 Denver 24

Houston 17 Baltimore 14

Green Bay 34 Giants 14

Looks pretty solid

I would say...

Saints game may be a little lower scoring and closer
The Saints are better at home than on the road, and the SF defense is legit

Patriot game looks about right to me

Not sure Houston can get it done against the Ravens with their QB
But then again, the Ravens can be dominating or gawdawful, so depends on who shows up

The Giants defensive line is playing well, and they are running the ball again
Could be a closer game than what you predict, more like the regular season matchup

Watch the Bruins, dude. (and this is why):

The Pats, like I predicted, will probably win by 20+ points and that's not stretching anybody's predictions.

31-10, you heard it here first. :) The Pats D, no matter what they have or have not done this season, will be on fire and have a lot to prove, including putting out the fire on the Tebow Fire phenomenon.

Ya. I looked at the numbers real hard and I "think" Baltimore won't shut down Arian Foster like they did in their regular season matchup. If they can't stop Foster Houston will win.

The Giants won't show up. It's gonna be one of those off days for Manning plus they play in Green Bay.

If I wasn't working I'd be flipping between the Pats and Bruins. Unfortunately, since I am working, it's up to the customers, and since the majority of the customers at my work are douchebag rhode islanders who don't watch or care about the Bruins except during the finals.

I think it will be closer than that, 35-24 Broncos. You heard it here first.:p

Those are not fans but drinkers, however, your job is to sell alcohol and when people drink, many of them become, well, douchebags. ;) I am a musician who has played in bars, and the clientele start as potential audience but alcohol makes them do stupid things like steal equipment and grab the mic, and sometimes take off clothes! (but the nekkid part is what happens to other musicans at other bars).

The hard core fans I know (regardless of sport) have it all set up at home and can watch many games via satellite or a million channels.

I don't think the Patriots are a complete lock
But I would be surprised at that score
I know the Pats defense isn't very good, but neither is the Bronco offense
And I think Brady will keep the ball away from the Broncos for much of the game

The Pats need to play to win... not play to not lose
I think too many teams in the 4th quarter got spooked by the hype and tried not to lose instead of playing to win

Anything is possible. The Broncos have to be stingy as heck. Run the ball, convert those third downs. Tebow has to play conservative, yet smart football. Even a little time is all the Pats need to score.

I don't expect any 80 yard last second passes from the Broncos if they are to win. They have to totally control the football. Somehow, with all the pressure, I expect a lot of mistakes and this will favor the Pats and not the Broncos. I hope I am wrong though and that the Broncos win, whether it's 14-10, or 42-35.

That's it exactly.

The Broncos may be able to throw an 80 touchdown once in a blue moon but the Patriots can march 80 yards and score at will.

Dude, I know we have our NFC rivalry, but I like the way you're thinkin here :D

Hahaha.

Hell why not.... I say 21-17 Broncos :p

since I'm picking on emotion I'll say 17-14 San Fran

Nobody expected one last week either, especially the Steeler secondary

Good point.

But does lightning like that, a legendary 80 yard pass in overtime, strike twice? What an exciting game that would be if it was tied after the 4th and the Broncos came and won again in OT. If that happened, even atheists would believe the hand of God had something to do with it. ;)

I am a Niners fan, are you a GB fan?

Anyway, the Niners had a great year but it ends today. The freakin' Saints, nuff said.

Saints and GB in the NFL are in their own category. Steelers, Pats, and Giants are fine teams, but not the type that would ever pose a threat to GB or Saints. And the Niners, in that second list, too, are arguably weaker than those three. I don't want to venture to guess, but I say an easy Saints win.
