Pretty much. Denver is hopeless.
Well at least you have admitted that you are a hater.

Nine times out of ten, if this game was played over that many times, I would give it to the Pats.
However, as we have seen with the Steelers, the Broncos can get it done. I have not seen too often where an underdog team has beaten two really strong opponents in a row in postseason, but Tebow and co. can be the first to do so. A lot of people are going to love the underdog that the Broncos are and like me, root for them. It really is a David vs. Goliath thing and that's what makes it fun.
Interesting stat of the day - Patriots played only 2 teams with winning records in 2011 and lost to both of them (PIT, NYG).

I'm not a hater. Look at the Broncos regular season performance against stronger teams and it was quite weak. But, whatever, you can label me a "hater" if you want to look juvenile. "hater" is just a cop out for failure to admit that the Broncos lack fundamentals.

We didn't see the Steelers. We saw a 50% Steelers teams and a healthy Denver team, that won in OT. Hardly commendable.
However, they played a good game against the Steelers and to just totally deny that seems pretty juvenile to me.
Where was all the love for the Jets last year when they beat both the Colts and the Pats on the road?![]()
But, they never looked in control.
Really, a 20-6 halftime lead isn't in control? Ok, I think we'll just have to agree to disagree.
LOL.
Half-time, schmaf-time ... shoulda closed it out.
If the game ended 20-6 or even 20-12, they'd get some respect.
They won a blown coverage, on the first play, with new overtime rules.
Colour me not excited, at all.
We must define "a good game" differently. They got lucky in OT. "You have to be in it to win it" and all those Americanisms. But, they never looked in control. And, they totally let the Steelers back into the game.
Good teams "close out" games, and the Broncos didn't do that.
No kudos from me.
They escaped; that's all.

Dream on![]()
I thought that some of them were pretty funny. It was a nice explanation of all of the different ways the game can end in OT. It was a lot simpler under the old OT rules.
I found it very strange that Denver won under all those different conditions.
hmmm..
And out of curiosity - how did you become a Patriots fan if you're not an American?
