true... But does this past year's implosion bring back bad flashbacks then?
Nope, because nobody gave a **** about last years red sox team. Aside from the fact that they were a group of lazy, cocky dbags, Boston was hungover from the Stanley Cup all summer.

i don't like either the Ravens or the Pats so i don't really care who wins there. But for the NFC championship i'd like to see the 49ers win. i know its a long shot but one can hope.
after last week's teblowout, gronk called hernandez a beast... but we all know wilfork is the real beast
We all know NE has the best offense of the four teams left, but if their D finishes the day like this without injuries, they are definitely going to win the Super Bowl. A third of the way into the game, and Baltimore is held to 66 yards!
Also, the two teams which could usually beat them are out (New Orleans and Green Bay). The Ravens are great, but just not quite up the NE's level but if Baltimore plays every second of this game, they can go to the Super Bowl.
As for the next game, I think the Ds are going to come out swinging, too.

It's been happening all year, sometimes i hate seeing games of "good"/"tough" defenses, they get away with murder it seems, holding, interference, personal fouls, and not a single call, specially in baltimore or pittsburgh games :S
I understand the logic. They only had about 1:30 left on the clock at their own 10 Yd. line.
They get the ball in the 2nd half. Odds are they will have better field position with a new half.
