Definitely turning into a good game! I'm at the airport commuting to work - getting some strange looks for being in the bar area. ;)

I know it sucks to get rejected by the dorks out west, but you don't have to lash out at us about it. Instead of bashing the state of Texas, maybe you should just be counting your blessings that Mobilehoma is close enough to us that the Sooners are actually able to field a football team.

Well I do have family in Texas and Oklahoma maybe You"ll win some more national titles in the SEC one to add to your total of one.2-1-1 vs. Bama. All the luck in the world to ya all.

You nailed it. Our season is over after choking away a game to a Top-10 team.

Nice effort against Nevada.

Looks like GameDay will be in Madison for this one. I guessing UW wins by 10 or so. Should be a fun one.

Sorry about that game against the Hawgs maybe your next game will be better in the second half.

A&M v.s. Arkansas game is final- 3-28 run by Arkansas. Looks like A&M has some serious 2nd half work to do.

Amen.

Great comeback by Arkansas.

No, wait - scratch that:

Yet another second half choke by A&M.

Yeah, that sounds better.

A&M...soon to be bottom dwellers of the SEC lol. Can't even hold onto a double digit lead against arkansas

I mean arkansas? really?

I don't see why this loss indicates they'll be bottom dwellers - but they'll certainly have to learn how to play two halves if they want to compete.

Hooray for jumping ship to another conference!

The season's early yet, but we have Utah (0-2 PAC-12), Colorado (0-1 PAC-12), and Nebraska (0-1 Big 10) stinking it up big time in their new homes, and TAMU got handled by their future roomie in the SEC West. Way to represent, guys. </sarcasm>

My thoughts on yesterday's action:

I didn't expect Wisconsin to have such a relatively easy time against Nebraska.

Texas appears to be "back," and Oklahoma rolled up the points on Ball State before taking the second half off and playing the subs. Next week's game in Dallas should be a good one.

Anyone who turned off the A&M-Arkansas game at halftime yesterday missed a great second half.

I didn't think Kansas State looked good so much as Baylor made too many mistakes, but that's probably more a symptom of KSU's slow, methodical style than anything. The Mildcats have quietly opened the season 4-0.

Getting rejected by another conference is definitely better for the bottom line (as is playing Ball State) ;)

Agreed. I expected UW to win by 10 or so. They are definitely the real deal and should have a great chance to run the table in a weak B1G. It won't be fun to play Nebraska again the the CG (probably), but I don't see anyone else (including Michigan) that can take them out.

I'm not as prepared to drink that Kool-Aid. If Texas beats OU, I'll be all in on them being back, but up to this point they looked mediocre against Rice and downright horrible against BYU before having two nice performances against UCLA and Iowa St. What does all that tell us? Only that they haven't really played anyone.

I would expect a blowout loss to the Sooners, but last year proved that UT doesn't have to be any good to play OU close. I have no idea how that one will turn out, score-wise, but I think OU wins it without sweating too much at the end.

Unbelievable. I don't think I've ever seen a team choke away two unloseable leads like that in consecutive games. :(

That's kind of how I felt about our game. I think Arkansas is a good team, but for the second week in a row, Mike Sherman gave one away. Not going for it on the two short 4th Downs in the 3rd Q was incredibly cowardly and sends a horrible message to the team.

Someone needs to grab him by the ear and make him remember that he coaches in college now. Coaching not to lose only works in the NFL. In the college game, that's what makes you lose. Pathetic.

Dawgs win and SCarolina and the Gators go down
Good to be in the East this year

LSU #1 and Bama #2 and both are scary good
Anything can happen and that is why they play the games, but I gotta say...
If either LSU or Bama doesn't win out and win the BCS I will be surprised
Right now I think LSU is playing better than anyone in the country

Anyone else surprised with Clemson???
Wins over Auburn 38-24, Florida State 35-30 and Va Tech on the road 23-3
Contenders or pretenders?
They seem to be the cream of the ACC (the new Big East) right now
Their game with Ga Tech on 10/29 will be a big game for the ACC

we shale see. I am rooting for Texas Tech next week and they seemed to of handled KU pretty well this weekend. The way A&M played the past two weeks is just risking a major loss yet again to the raiders as the Raiders are a 2nd half team and I believe they hold some of the records for come from behind wins.

Sadly I do not think our current couch understands how the offence works but hey I am hoping they be A&M.

Poor A&M Aggies

It must sting after OSU slipped it to you in the second half and didn't even kiss you all.Ball State was a tune up before TU.Arkansas well I think youv'e played them before , bad second half again .Whats good for the bottom line is breaking the 800 win barrier.I'm 60 don't think I'll live long enough to see A&M do that.Looking foward to N0V. 5 we might have a going away present for you.Boomer Sooner! Take it on the run baby.
