Yeah, I've never seen anything that bad. The punt barely got back to the original line of scrimmage..

And then that late hit on the Vols punt returner. Absolutely unacceptable. Back-to-back penalties is bad enough, but five??

that has to be a record. I do not think I have ever seen something that bad. That is what going from field goal range to long punting range.

Yeah, that has to be some kind of record. When we beat Florida in 2000, we got them into a 3rd and 41 situation thanks to a couple of sacks and a bad snap, but I've never seen anything like that. Steve Spurrier had Rex Grossman take an intentional safety after all that. It was very entertaining. :)

Based on the past 2 games that is not enough of a lead to deal with a 2nd half team.

A&M went into complete clock-kill mode with a 45-33 lead and 9 minutes to go, and just barely managed to kill all the clock (allowing a meaningless TD with :31 to go).

I really wanted to see us shove it down the ****** Tech defense's throat and put the game away with a TD, but after the last two choke jobs, I'll take any win, especially in the black hole known as Lubbock.

On a different note, looks like a great finish coming up on ABC between Nebraska and Ohio State.

Looks like a historic choke by Ohio State against Nebraska- Up 27-6 and now we're looking at 27-27 with 6 minutes to go, and OSU just threw an interception. Looks like Nebraska was over-ranked.

Well the only victory to take out of that for Tech right now is A&M failed to cover the spread. Mind you TTU had multiple screw ups in the game (field goal return for a touch down being a big one).

Sorry you hate Lubbock so much. At least it is better than College station This coming from multiple people I know who grew up in Collage Station and went to Lubbock. I personally have never visited nor plan to visit cultvil

I sure hope Nebraska loses a few ranks after their performance tonight- a top 15 team should not have to come back in the second half against an unranked team after being down by 20+ points. They lucked out.

I must admit the jealous streak in me is LOVING that Utah is getting dominated in the PAC-12. :D

Of course, even if they had remained in the MWC they would have been lucky to be #3..

No one hates Lubbock. Everyone just thinks it's a sad little ghost town.

That being said, I totally believe you when you cite "multiple people" on the Internet. Lubbock is a dream "city".

Never said it was a dream city. I just had multiple people I went to school with who grew up in college station. They just said compared to College Station it is a hell of a lot better.

Lubbock is a city of 225k. The city would still be large for west Texas with out TTU. The city would service with out TTU.
College station would not be there with out A&M and it revolves around the school. No getting around those facts.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. One great thing about college towns is the high concentration of crazy hot chicks. And there's plenty of both in CS and Lubbock. One thing I liked about CS back in my college days is that it was the only place to get Freebirds. Now of course you can get it in both Austin and Lubbock, but back then I'd hop in an airplane full of my buddies and we'd fly out to CLL just for a Monster. Good times!

true that. Hot chicks is true.
In that area TTU has both UT and A&M beat. I believe year after year we are ranked above both by playboy. While I was at TTU it was number 2 a few times and I will say yes there were lots of nice looking girls at TTU.

I'll give you that with hot chicks. But I'm personally a bigger fan of cute than hot, if that makes any sense, and CS has us both beat there, IMO.

There are hot chicks at every college in Texas. Tech has a ton of them, as does Texas and A&M. None of that changes the fact that Rodimus talked **** that his team couldn't back up. The Ags didn't play that well in the second half for the third game in a row, but managed to get it done this time (obviously it's easier to get it done against an inferior team as opposed to the other two we choked against).

That being said, you can close the book on the A&M-Tch rivalry for now. Have fun choking on this loss for the time being, as the odds of A&M playing in Lubbock again (or vs Tech anywhere, really) anytime soon are very, very slim.

So, what play do you call for a 2nd and 56? :D

For those not watching the Georgia - Tennessee game: Georgia got 4 straight penalties to make it 2nd and 56. OUCH!

(Sorry, MacDawg)

Ha ha ha ha!!

4th and 58?

Really, Georgia? Nice discipline. Wow.

And ANOTHER personal foul??!

What the hell is wrong with them?!

During the A&M-Tech game last night, Aggie LB Demontre' Moore tackled Tech RB Eric Stephens just after Stephens dropped a pass. Unfortunately, Stephens' knew was bent back horribly and he had to be carted from the field; his season is almost certainly over.

Today, Tech's classiest fans are berating Moore on Twitter, calling the offending hit "late" and "dirty" (it was neither and was not flagged).

A sampling:

@syndikurt: @tmoore94 You're a dirty ****ing player. That was a dirty play, mother ****er. You intentionally set out to **** up that guy's legs.

@dcsttu: @tmoore94 you are officially the biggest piece of **** I know. Congrats. Aggie class all the way.

@sTyLiNcC: @tmoore94 nice cheap shot bitch. come back to lubbock and get your ass ****ed up. nice work getting arrested 2 times in the offseason.

@sritchie19: @tmoore94 also what kind of name is damontre' #ebonics

Then, for contrast, Eric Stephens's tweet:

@ericstephens24: @tmoore94 just called to apologize. It's all good man it's all apart of the game. No hard feelings.

I was a little sad before the game that it was the last time we were going to play Tech in football, but after the "vandalism" of the buses (which was actually a little funny when viewed as an isolated incident), the booing by Tech fans when Aggie players got injured (including one kid who dislocated his elbow and another, our stud WR Jeff Fuller, who got a concussion) and then this, I'm pretty okay with never scheduling the "classless clowns" again.

While agree the boo Aggie injured players was uncalled for it has to be noted that the announcers of the game even said it was a little odd to have that many injuries that close together from the same team and said it was rumored that A&M might of been planning to do that to slow down techs offense. Take that into account it is a little more uncalled for.

As for the one with the tech play season ending injury sorry I was even asking where the hell was the flag for the late hit. While I do not think it was intention it still looked like a late hit. The A&M defender had several steps that he could of kept from hitting him. Rule is you get two and i counted at least 4 in the replay.

Calling ttu fans classless is low because there are some times that A&M have been pretty classless and you currently are being a great example of one.

Overall I find most home teams stations in college classless to the other team.

Also sitting twitter accounts of any college team is pretty bad. I bet I could easily go threw and find some very classless one from A&M fans.

As for Moore A REALLY CLASSY player you got there. Sorry throwing insults back is not very good. He caused a season ending injury player (accidental or not) and some how expects people not to get made at him and throw crap his way on a social networking site. My answer to him is he needs to grow some thicker skin or get out of the sport. Personally if I was his coach over his responses he would be bench followed shortly by banning twitter for all players.

Did you catch the Texas OU game.I got tickets for Nov.5 in Norman.Hope A&M is ready will give you agood test and see what you are made of.You should have no trouble being a power in the SEC.On the same plane as you were in the Big 12.Whooops! Boomer Sooner!

blah blah blah

Eric Stephens didn't have a problem with the hit, but a bunch of witless internet tough guys sure did flex those virtual muscles!

As for the announcers, they apologized for questioning the injuries after they realized that the players were, in fact, injured. In fact, Jeff Fuller might miss the next game and there's a decent chance that Brandon Alexander is done for the season. Don't let the facts get in the way, though.

Let's just be clear: ANYONE who boos injured players (or condones such actions) is a classless douche bag. You've made it pretty clear which side of that line you fall on.

I've already got my tickets. The last time I went to a game in Norman, a morbidly obese OU fan punched my girlfriend. Was that you? I hope the emergency room was nice ;)

As for the Red River Bloodbath, I'm pretty sure you just beat the burnt orange equivalent of Ball State. Boomer!
