^^^ good win for the Ags. Michigan's QB took a Heisman hit today as well.

Tough loss steve. I was cheering for State today. Sure it would have put the Rebs in last place in the West, but I was really hoping for a solo lead for the Dawgs in the East. Oh well :(

Hopefully Auburn can pull out a win and send Florida two games back :D

No kidding. And you guys are gonna prison rape Kansas today. I'm just happy we're keeping it competative (so far) against oSu.

Really Texas? Was that OK State guy wearing an invisibility cloak?? He wasn't even touched!! How can that happen on a run up the middle on 4th and inches??

I just feel dirty rooting for Texas... *shudder*

;)

^^^ we are very, very bad - on both sides of the ball. This is the worst squad I've seen since I've been a Longhorn (1996). The '97 squad went 4-7, but I think that was because they quit on the coach. This team just lacks the talent to compete. They're young, so maybe they'll get better, but I'm not holding my breath.

It is going to be pretty hard to top last year's squad which was rather pathic.

^^^ I don't see us beating A&M - they're gonna be pumped to give their big brother one last FU before heading off to the SEC. No way we catch them with their pants down.

Wirelessly posted (htc EVO 4G: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.3; en-us; Sprint APA9292KT Build/GRI40) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Tannehill and Swope were phenomenal today. RG3 was actually really great most of the game, but A&M's defense came up big on the 4th Quarter (finally) and shut him down.

Looks like the Horns have some fight in them, but Pokes O is just too much.

This is such a down year for college football.

Oregon, Stanford, and Boise are good out west. The two Oklahoma schools and Wisconsin are good in the midwest. LSU and Alabama are good down south. That's pretty much it.

Then there are a bunch of teams who could win a lot of games. Clemson, Georgia Tech, Washington, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Arkansas, South Carolina... but perhaps with the exception of Clemson, none of these teams are anything near special.

Odd situation during the post game interviews at Kyle Field: a reporter asked RG3 what Mike Sherman said to him after the game (Sherman basically told him that he was awesome) and Art Briles sort of flipped out, chastised the reporter and sent Griffin to the locker room.

More about it and a video here.

well that was embarrassing

Just be happy you scored, because that shouldn't have even happened. Coach Pete wasn't too happy with how the kids lost so much focus in the second quarter. Of course, going up 35-0 in the first 20 minutes of a game can do that to you... ;)

Can we make a motion to fire Tommy Tuberville from TTU. He took was was a good team and drove it into the ground in 2 seasons. 2 very winnable games in a row the raiders threw away with STUPID STUPID mistakes.

The teams been in the crapper ever sense the did the underhanded firing of Leach and if you go threw the court cases the school is using other laws to avoid being sued because they know in a true law suit they are screwed.

^^^
I think it is pretty clear cut to me who the top 3 teams are and the polls reflect it
Which one is 1/2/3 can be debated, but the Bama-LSU game will sort some of that
There are no certainties, we know that
And the Ok-Ok State game will be big
But looks to me like Oklahoma v the winner of Bama-LSU for the BCS

The rest, meh
Where you want to place Wisconsin, Stanford, Boise, Clemson and Ok State is a toss up to me

I hate to see anyone injured... Marcus Lattimore out for the year for SCarolina

A turbulent week for No. 14 South Carolina closed with devastating news: Star tailback Marcus Lattimore is out for the year with a knee injury.

"Our worst fears were realized," Gamecocks coach Steve Spurrier said Sunday.

Makes the Gamecocks very vulnerable and opens the door even more for the Dawgs in the East if they take care of business
Gonna be tough for SCarolina to hang the rest of the year with their QB and running back

Welcome back to the AP poll, Georgia. Keep on winning, please!

We dropped another spot to #7 in the Coach's poll, but we actually have two more points than last week. Heh. I'll take the points over the rank.

I'm not convinced it's going to be OU in the championship game. I think OK State beats them at the end of the season, and I think Wisconsin will just barely edge out OK State for the title game to play Alabama. Going with my gut tells me 'Bama is going to beat LSU on Nov. 5th.
