Agreed.

So. Miss calls a trick play pass to the endzone while up 21 with 3 minutes to go? What kind of bush league crap is that?

Welcome to CUSA. Now we're never going to hear the end of from those idiot Southern Miss fans around here. All 10 of 'em.

Shouldn't have been a touchdown. He threw the ball to the official before he crossed the goal line.

Yeah, that overhead shot was pretty clear. The announcers said something like the replay officials said they didn't have that view. WTF?

One thing about that flip to the ref: what was the ref doing signaling TD before he crossed the line? I think it's entirely possible that he tossed the ball to the ref because he had his hands in the air. That's pretty much the same thing as blowing the whistle and ruling a play over.

Also, why the HELL isn't Matthieu getting any Heisman talk? This dude is the best player on the best team, and he makes more huge plays than anyone I've seen in a long, long time.

Hate to say it, Dawg, but this game is over.

Dawgs are having a great year, but are still a year away, LSU is a mature team today.

The biggest differences are in special teams (esp. kick coverage), the ability to avoid mistakes and to make the other team pay for theirs.

Too much pressure on Murray prevents the passing game from making a difference.

Running game has been too inconsistent.
Defense will be on the field too long.
Key mistakes will hurt.

LSU gets up early, and pulls away in the second half. LSU 42 Dawgs 14.

I hope I am wrong.

I was pretty much spot on... except the part about LSU getting up early

I wouldn't feel too bad about it. It's ridiculous how good LSU is at crushing a team's spirit in the 2nd half. As much as it pains me to say, you guys (UGA) have had a great year and have a good team.

There's been Internet chatter that Mack Brown is going to "retire" but I think that's ludicrous. What do you think?

I hope it's all bogus. Who is available to replace him that would be an improvement? I believe we're in a down period because some of our recruits didn't end up being as good as we thought they'd be. It's a talent problem, and I think a coaching change isn't going to do squat but doom us to a long period of mediocrity.

Dawgs are a year away

This game showed...
A. They can play (first half)
B. They have to play 60 minutes (second half)

Crowell has been a huge disappointment all year
He is not the answer and the Dawgs are going after backs again in recruitment

Defense has been solid
Murray is solid
But we need a running back or two or three

All in all, a good season
But we need to win our bowl game

Let's go Hokies!

I heard they're going to interview Larry Fedora in NY next week.
