I would like to take a moment, on New Year's Day, to thank the bozos at ESPN, the NFL and the BCS for robbing college football (and its fans) of one of the best days of the year.
If the bowls are as sacred a tradition as the BCS goons would have us believe, why aren't there any games on January 1?

Yep, though I think it has as much to do with the NFL clearing room as it does with college football being afraid of poor ratings. Mutually beneficial for both to avoid the overlap, yet another reason why the BCS is full of...it.
On another note, A&M message boards are mongering the rumor that Kevin Sumlin is going to try to hire Miss St DC Chris Wilson away. Would be a nice hire for my Ags.

Looks like they succeeded. Bummer for the Dawgs, but as a disinterested third party, it was fun game to watch!
I chose to take redwarrior and her kids to Stone/Snow Mountain today since I was off work and her son was out of school. They set up a snow area and create a snow playground, and a slope for tubing. Obviously, it was the better choice today.
The Dawgs lack the ability to make teams pay dearly for mistakes and put them away when they have the opportunity. It is what keeps them from moving to the level of LSU and Alabama. We just don't have the killer in us.
I hope they take another step next year with a favorable schedule, but they need to grow some balls and want it.

Yeah that last second spike attempt did not make for a great game. I feel bad for W. Never know what could of been.
