Rain won't be a factor for the Yanks. This is becoming common place now. C.C. will pitch on short rest so that won't be a factor either. The bigger concern is what happens if Saturday gets rained out as well. Talk of the first post season double header.

Tigers-Yankees 1-1

I was afraid that slip on the on-deck circle was going to be the "blown game" moment. Got a little scary there, but glad to see it go back to Motown 1-1. Now if we can just repeat 2006 and not come back.

Screw the playoffs and WS, who else is ready for the Hot Stove?
Anybody want Derek Lowe?
We will pay his salary, if you will just take him :D

The Yankees will give you Burnett for nothing as long as you take on his contract. :D

The good news is that we have AJ on the mound tomorrow with a chance to save our season.

Not sure why TBS uses that pitch tracker if it is that wrong. The Umps can't be that horribly inconsistant. And I was hoping that without Chip Carrey there that the announcers would be better but this crew sucks. I am waiting for Tim and Joe.

I can't listen to these TBS announcers:eek:Can't wait for Buck and McCarver:eek:

Angel Hernandez behind the dish today:eek: The worst umpire in baseball:eek:

On the bright side I don't have to deal with TBS or Fox broadcasts. Suck on that you people still in the playoffs.:p

Swinging at crap pitches didn't help. The team needs to learn to take their walks, and the power bats need to learn how to hit.

You're right about that. The at-bats they had with RISP were awful. Russell Martin should have been pinch hit for...he looked like he had no clue at the plate. And ditto for Swisher, who normally has great at-bats and a great eye.
