And my iMac is delivered today. The history:

Ordered: May 23th.
Shipped: June 10th.
Delivered: June 15th.

Mine finally showed up. Now if I can figure out how to get my Bose Companion 3 to work. So far everything is great. I have an i7, 2 TB + 256 SSD + 2GB gpu+ 8 ram.

iMac was delivered today, ordered 5/9, Shipped 6/13, Delivered 6/15

3.4GHz, 2TB, 256SSD, 4GB RAM, 2GB VRAM

FedEx man said he was glad I was there, if I wasn't he was just going to leave it
by the door. I was going ask him about the signature being required, but since I signed for it, I let it go.

First thing I noticed is that there was something loose in the box as I carried it upstairs. Then I noticed a hole in the shipping box and also in the iMac box itself.
I could touch the computer inside, and thought maybe the screen was broken.

I opened the shipping box and saw little shards of what I assumed was glass in the bottom of the shipping box and in the top of the iMac box. Took a photo of the damage and called Apple support before I opened the iMac box. After talking to them, they said to open the box and check it out.

The screen seemed fine, and further inspection of the iMac box revealed that one of the two silica packets had broken spilling some of its contents throughout the iMac box.

Everything seems to be perfect with the iMac so far. No dead pixels, no problems.
The stand tilt seems to a lot looser than my previous iMac. Definitely need to upgrade the RAM. Quite a step up from my previous iMac (2GHz Core 2 Duo 20")

YAY! Just arrived... Central New York, ordered May 4th.

The box it came in was totally smashed in on one side. Put a large hole in the shipping box as well as the apple box. I thought there might be a huge hole in the screen as well , but luckily it was spared :D

Makes me nervous.

In about an hour, FDX555 will be taking off. I've been waiting far too long for this. I seriously can't wait.

I think yours and mine are buddies on that flight. Too bad I have to go to DC for work at the last minute tomorrow morning!

If US Air even thinks about delaying my flight home Friday for a second...

An update for those thinking of ordering soon or to those who have ordered in the last few days. I ordered in the wee hours of Monday 6/13 and just went to Prepared for Shipment and the credit card charged. I'm hoping for a Monday delivery next week!

FedEx is saying "Departed". I'm guessing that it's simply being loaded, as at that point I don't see any KMEM-BOS flights in the air. FDX555 is the only flight still left to make that route for the day.

The next flight out of Memphis to LA is in an hour, and one an hour after that. I shall wait!

UPS made me suffer for a whole day - my iMac went "out for delivery" at 6:13 AM and according to UPS should be delivered between 9 AM and 5 PM. It arrived late at 5:23 PM.
My tracking info starts after merging the iMac and the Toast software in Prague (6/10/2011 3:48 PM). Ordering both at the same time probably slowed my delivery down - all the other first day orders seem to have beaten me.
Still, my first impression is that it was well worth the wait.

Mine has been "prepared for delivery" since before I woke up this morning at 7 am EST. I've impatiently clicked "refresh" all day dying to see a tracking number.

Edit: Ordered June 8.

Mine just went to Prepared for Shipment. Ordered June 10, original ship/delivery dates July 22/28, currently listing June 28/July 4.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

Got mine this morning!!! Btw, VERY important tidbit for anyone who, like me, decides to relocate their home folder to the HDD through Account settings in System Prefs. After changing over, DO NOT delete the old user folder from the SSD. I figured this would be safe... Next time I rebooted it went to a screen saying it could not login to my account. Being that it was my ONLY account, I just ended up reinstalling OS X. There was probably an easier solution but I did not know of one.

shipping times officially changed for me today. now it says shipping in 5-7 business days, and it delivers between june 27th and june 29th. however, it still says "not yet shipped". that will probably change hopefully in the upcoming days.

Mine just changed to that too, ordered June 13th. Delivery changed to July 1-6, however I am prepared for shipment and credit card has been charged.

Loving LOVING my new iMac! As a first time owner there are a lot more loves than hates.

Love the trackpad. Surprised, but already addicted.
Love the screen. I mean, come on.
Love the integration.
Love the speed! Holy shikes!

Regretting moving my photos to iPhoto. I like my folder structure. That was insane.
Regretting having left my email accounts on Outlook Express. Nothing is coming over. Microsoft's fault. Damn you .iaf files.
Regretting that mail can't integrate with my yahoo mail. All well, can't be perfect.

Hang in there you shipper waiters! It is SO worth it when that big box comes through the door! Plan some hours to yourself because you just CAN'T stop playing with it! GarageBand? What the heck? I can do MUSIC?!?

Did you get rid of your old computer yet? Because you CAN move your Outlook Express files over to Apple Mail. I did this once for my husband's boss. He had bought a new 201 iMac computer and I was asked to set it up.

It took me 4 hours of online research, but if memory serves correctly, you have to export the emails as an archive in Windows in Outlook Express (I'm using the wrong word with Archive I think, but basically it exports all your email as a big file), convert them and import them into regular Outlook. Once in Outlook re-export them as an archive file (again not the right word, but same concept). Then you can use Apple Mail to import the Outlook archive file and it'll all work.

It even kept all their old email folders and the emails within those folders just fine.

It takes some research and effort, but it's doable. It impressed my husband's boss, so that was a lot of browny points for him :D
