Nice flop for Stanford last night. The Pac-12 is a mess.

Kickoff for A&M-Arkansas is just over 24 hours away. Even though the Hogs have been terrible so far, this game worries me. A&M hasn't done well recently against "wounded" teams but I hope we can take care of business. Need to get that first SEC win out of the way.

Before this game gets too out of hand, I just want to say Hotty Toddy! Up by 1! :D

Now with that out of the way, the Dawgs looked like complete trash today. Today was the first home game i've missed since 2009 so I'll take the blame.

The Longhorns dodged a bullet last night in Stillwater. The refs missed a goal line fumble that gave us the go ahead score. I understand how they missed it in real time - the fumble happened inside the pile - but it was pretty clear upon review. Oh well - we'll take it! :)

It's good to see our quarterback come into his own this season. Our offensive line is obviously a lot better this year too. We're gonna need it next weekend, as our defense isn't nearly good enough to stop West Virginia. The only hope we have is to come out on top in the shootout. Glad we're playing at home.

The Hawgs have completely imploded. I realize John L. Smith isn't the best coach, but they still have a lot of talent on that team. I know they were a bit weak on defense, but this is crazy. I think they have just given up.

In other news, it looks like WVU will fit in perfectly in the B12. All offense, no defense.

And BTW, A&M looks like they have a damn good QB. Wow.

It was a wild game to be sure

But "Gur-shall" still looked great, and so did Murray for the most part
The offense is the best in the SEC and will play with anybody

Not sure what the defensive problems were, but I think the rust on 'Tree and Rambo hurt, along with the adjustments of having them there
The Tennessee offense isn't horrible and Bray can throw (inconsistently)
That said, the defense took the ball away on the last 3 possessions (2 interceptions and a fumble)

But yeah, we are gonna have to play better on defense, and I think Grantham will make that point this week rather emphatically

Good teams find a way to win when they don't play their best game
Hopefully it was a learning experience and they will come together

He's only a freshman so he's bound to have growing pains but he's been pretty great so far, and he hasn't turned it over at all yet (which can't last). Still, he's doing things with his legs that really haven't been done before in an "Air Raid"-type system, and he's only going to get better with more experience.

Fun times in Aggieland.

Very disappointed in the Dawgs first half
Gonna be a tough uphill battle to get back in the game

I would have kicked the FG and taken the points

Are you watching the game? It's damn good. A very close game, 28-27 at the half.

I am surprised at how South Carolina is completely dominating Georgia. I expected the dawgs to win.

Yep! Although it looks like W. Virginia is gonna win this. Our offense just can't seem to make plays when they need to.

They just got that HUGE fumble recovery!

1st and 10 at WV's 12.

Oh, I can't believe they screwed that up AND missed the FG.

Bummer of a loss, but maybe this will light a fire under their asses for the big game next weekend.

I think last year's team would have been blown out, so at least we're improving. I see another loss or two before the season is done, and a close win over some midlevel team in a bowl. :)

so after 3-5 lose, what the hell will the rankings be?

----------

I am taking Michigan over ND.... Go Big Blue!

I am hoping Arizona pulls out the upset, send the Pac 12 into a tizzy!

Oregon's only job is to win the Pac-12 unbeaten and to send Matty Barkely and his USC Possy to a garbage bowl with 3 losses (one to my cardinal and twice to Oregon in the regular season and Pac-12 title game)

and yes I know my cardinal are going nowhere-we were lucky to win today and we are in more trouble than anyone actually thought

‎4th and an inch lets run shotgun... Said no one ever.

Smooth move Freeze.

I still say we had that Safety.

Mind-boggling call to even go for it there (let alone call that play and leave A&M's leading tackler unblocked), but I was glad he did it.

Safety call was impossible to tell from the angle they showed. Would love to see a down-the-line shot of it. Despite that, hard to overlook the fact that A&M went 99.9 yards in four plays right afterward. Huge defensive lapse.

I think Freeze is going to win a lot of games in Oxford despite this loss. The difference between last year and this year is night and day.

I bet South Carolina leapfrogs Oregon to #2. If not, they will if they win in Death Valley next week.

No chance. Moving up from 6 to 3 is plenty. Oregon shredded Washington too. Zero chance they're #2 this week.

Edit, guess at Top 10 (going off AP as I believe their Top 10 and overall Top 25 is better):

1) Alabama
2) Oregon
3) South Carolina
4) Kansas State
5) West Virginia (if anyone jumps anyone, WVU will jump to #4 past Kansas State just because)
6) Notre Dame
7) Florida
8) Ohio State
9) LSU (unfortunately this fraud of a team probably wont drop further)
10) Southern Cal

Probably Georgia in the 11-15 range, perhaps even just 11 though they should drop more, as should LSU, but the 6-10 teams move up to take the 3-5 slots and then a few of those teen ranked teams lost, so you'll get something like that.

Can't wait to see what they actually are.
