The dollars price is reasonable for me.

Whether that converts to £££ as reasonable is a different thing entirely...

USD conversion is £1400. So I suspect it will be £1800 with our VAT/Apple international prices. At least.

This is exactly what I wanted in the update but from a price standpoint I just pray the RAM & SSD are replaceable. I'm not paying $500 extra for 16GB RAM.

Thank the heavens I am going to America in July.

Will cost me just over £1400. Shipped via Amazon to Hotel.

I imagine it will be £1800 - £2000 in the UK.

Please get the store online Apple so I can cry when I see the GBP price.

Back to square 1 in my decision making now. Air has better resolution and way slimmer which will be crucial given the amount of books I have to carry and all the weight I can slim off, then better, but soldered 4gb. Pro has sucky resolution but ability to put 16gb and a better SSD in.

If that is true... No MBP for me... I'm saddened

At least they are generous with the initial configuration. 8GB RAM, 256GB of flash... That is quite generous, but for the price of $2199, it should have been 16GB and 512GB standard.

Sorry, I'm a bit out of the loop, but will these new laptops come with Mountain Lion? How about a refurbished version of the old (as of now) MBPs? If not, will all these I mentioned be available for update when Mountain Lion is ready?

I'd really appreciate an answer to this if someone has a moment :)
