Simply amazing. I jumped up and yelled "holy ****!" when it happened. That kid is incredibly talented, and I'm pissed I lost him in FF because I was #8 on the waiver wire a couple of weeks ago (by virtue of being so damned good).
Well you're not going to like who got him. :D

Of course I saw it Thursday morning when I woke up like "please please please." Being good at fantasy football is a waiver wire curse. ;)

edit: and as a Giants fan, you should be ashamed it took you that long to decide to pick him up.

Bills defense has been on point this season... but they have a tough remaining schedule.

After this week, they'll be undefeated 3 Sundays in a row!

But, seriously, just when you think being a Jets fan can't get any more brutal...

I would take solace in the fact that we are getting a high draft pick, but then Idzik is inept when it comes to drafting so no luck there either.

I mean this years Rookie WR class was stocked with talent, just look at how these rookie wideouts are performing this year... and our boy Idzik totally whiffed. I think the 4 receivers he took are either cut from the team or haven't caught any passes this season. Being a Jets fan is painful....... just painful

41 years a fan. I feels the pain too.

The standings are pretty crazy-looking:

The AFC-N has all four teams with 7 wins – Bengals on top by virtue of a tie that leaves them with only 3 losses. Any one of these teams could take the division, whether they get a WC too is anyone's guess.

Meanwhile, the division they are matched against, the NFC-S, has three teams with 7 losses, plus TB. This could be the division that beats the record set by Seattle in 2010, as the first team to make the playoffs with a sub-.500 record (7-9). It seems unlikely that Carolina, New Orleans or Atlanta will win out, or even end up with 8 wins; 3 losses each in the next five games is entirely conceivable, the NFC-S could yield up a division leader with only 6 wins. Pretty remarkable for a division that sent NO to the playoffs (1-1) as a WC last year and Carolina (0-1) grabbed a first-round bye.

Beckham made a great catch! Had to be in the top 5 in football history!

Tampa Bay is 2-9 and only 2 games behind the division leader.

It gets worse.

Apparently the Jets will now be starting Geno again. If I was Rex, I would quit. I don't think anyone in the league would blame him. He'll be able to get a DC job in a minute next season.

Idzik might be the most ineffective, clueless GM I've ever seen. Let him coach that pile of sh** he put together.

And in Washington, RG3 is benched for McCoy. Ouch.

Reminds me of the NFC West during the 2010 season when they all had losing records and Seattle won the division at 7-9. :D

No matter how bad your team was in that division, you knew you had a shot. Final standings had no one more than 2 games behind the division leader.

I think it's safe to say that St. Louis got the better end of that draft day trade if only by a little. RG3 is pretty much done and while the Rams haven't done much better in terms of wins, at least they were able to stack that defense to make it one of the better units in the league.

Turkey night's game between Seahawks and 49ers could well determine who is going to be out of the playoffs and who can potentially get enough steam to catch the NFL best Arizona Cardinals. It's possible that either NFC West team can be starting to peak and go all the way to the NFC Championship Game if Seattle maintains an improving D or San Francisco finally gets their offense going.

It's possible that the most favored team to win the Super Bowl end up being Arizona or SF, or Arizona or Seattle much like the days when the NFC champ between Cowboys and 49ers in the first half of the 1990s was pretty much the easy favorite for the following Super Bowl. For that to happen, even if Arizona falters some, they are at least on par with New England for best in the NFL, and either SF or Seattle would have to get really good this late of which one is likely to happen hinged on the Thanksgiving game.

Even though there's a lot of football left, the bay area sportscasters believe that the winner of tomorrow's game will be in the NFC Championship game, and favored to win, and the loser will fall apart and miss the playoffs altogether. It's too hard to say, but fans over here are treating this as a do or die game. Coach Harbaugh's job is on the line with this one game and so could Colin Kaepernick's future as starting 49er quarterback. On the Seattle side, some of the key D players may find the game will make or break their career at this point. Like any professional sport, most careers are very short and unforgiving so tomorrow's game should be a close one, low scoring and decided in the 4th quarter with some key season ending injuries to players on both teams. Black and blue division type football but out west!

I don't know about Seattle and their loyalty to sports stars but San Francisco has no loyalty in any sport if level of play gets interrupted. When Joe Montana got hurt but could obviously still play, he was benched and Steve Young took over forever in that QB controversy. When Alex Smith was still viable with best QB to interception ratio in NFL, he was dumped for Colin Kaepernick. Those two moves pissed off a lot of bay area fans but it's a part of a pattern. We aren't Boston who loves their Tom Brady or Larry Bird no matter what, or San Diego who loves their Tony Gwynn. When ace SF Giants closer Brian Wilson was temporarily hurt, it didn't matter that he pitched the last strike to end a 56 year baseball drought. Wilson left and went to LA and had no future in the Giants. The Giants didn't sign their 2010 World Series MVP Edgar Renteria and the two time Cy Young and WS winner Tim Lincecum was put deep into bullpen in 2014 WS run. Fans wore his shirt but it was as if he was retired. I have no doubt that the 49ers will have little tolerance for hiccups from Kap as QB or Harbaugh as coach in upcoming game. Some say the region's total disdain for past glory and ever intense search for newest young phenom is why this part of the map has so many championships. There's no such thing as loyalty in norcal and one day it will bite us again in the butt like it did when Oakland ditched Billy Martin and Reggie Jackson in the 1970s.

Jets beat writers on Twitter are saying it was Rex's choice to start Geno.

They're also saying RGIII might be on the Jets radar. Oy.

EDIT: Hey, they're worse than we are!

I'm gonna say the 49'ers will beat Seattle twice and make a playoff spot. Seattle will sit this year out. Continuing the Superbowl winner tradition alive.

pfft!

seattle > sf ... sadly...

Green Bay vs New england SB

GB 35
NE 14

GB looks good right this moment to the point some say they will make it to Super Bowl but I say Cardinals and probably something like 17-14 Arizona over Denver or New England.

I think the stars of different teams will rise in this period having started with Seattle (last year) with current strong teams of Arizona, Detroit, and Philly next, maybe even Browns and Bengals. No superpower stays the same for long and I predict even calming down of 49ers, Pats, Broncos, and Packers.

Of course this will be familiar with Philly being among top teams during an era but they look good as they have for a few several year periods in their history. Every now and then Seattle looked good only to come up short in terms of Super Bowl wins but now they have that monkey off their back. Philly is bound to win one in next few years, this time.

last weekend ARZ vs SEA answered all my questions... I hope I'm wrong but I don't think so... I would love to see the Cardinals win a SB!
