Jeff Fisher developing a QB? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

That's the frustrating part. Which ever QB they decide to draft, there's talks that they won't even start. This is the Rams grooming a QB now for when they move into their new stadium. If this ends up being true, I don't understand how you make this deal. It's not like any QB's this year are franchise QB's you need to take like Andrew Luck was. Who knows who enters the draft between now and when they move into their new stadium.

I get why they did it, they haven't had a good QB since Marc Bulger but if they don't start Goff or Wentz day 1, the Rams overreacted and wanted to make headlines for the sake of doing so because of their move to L.A.

I just can't believe the team that won the RGIII trade would turn around and do this

It's obviously a high risk but at the same time it wasn't the most terrible thing to do. It has to be understood that the Rams have been stock piling draft picks since Fisher and Les Snead took over. For the most part, they were able to find value and stack the defense while picking up Gurley with those picks but never landed a QB. If they didn't do the trade, it would be another year without drafting a QB or without drafting a QB they wanted and the Rams would be sitting at another 7-9 season with QB concerns going into another offseason.

I don't have a problem with the trade, my problem is with the selection of QB's this year. You do this trade if there is an Andrew Luck-type QB available, I don't mean a QB that will find immediate success but someone that looks more of a safe bet. Wentz and Goff are not those.

Darn Seahawks brought back Brandon Browner. The original PED DB.

Bad decision.

The re-signing of Browner is one of those moves where you don't expect much, if anything, to happen but you do it to see if it can re-spark the Legion of Boom. It was clear that the Seahawks defense regressed a bit (part of that due to Kam holding out) but overall, they were not the same. Doubt Browner comes back in and the L.O.B. reverts back to their old ways.

Na. I think that had more to do with Dan Quinn and Ken Norton Jr. leaving .

Unless there's some creative accounting that would create cap room, there's really only a handful of teams that could afford him at the price he wants. If not, then Norman is looking at a pay cut because everyone is preparing for the draft and not going to start spending this late into free agency.

My son thinks that the Jaguars might take Norman. They really need to beef up their defense.

The Jaguars I think have the most cap space available right now but I don't how the cap space is affected for contracts going into next year and have to look at Blake Bortles extension if the Jaguars believe he is the future. The Jaguars are a young team have been slowly building so I don't see them spending long-teem money for a CB heading into his 30's. The Jaguars signing him isn't out of the question, but I don't see them spending the kind of money Norman wants.

yeah the top three for cap space...Jags $53,746,852, Niners $52,154,301, Browns $39,820,334 (source overthecap.com)

jags or SF seem like the most likely spots

If Norman does sign with either team, then the Panthers were right in rescinding the franchise tag because it would suggest that Norman chose money over winning a championship and that money is more important to him at this point which is completely fair and he's earned that.

Norman to Washington, and don't let me spoil it, but...

Yep, I think they overpaid - what happened to the skins growing the talent from the draft and not going crazy on free agents.

I will say if he plays as well in Washington as he did in Carolina, the skin's defense has been upgraded.

This is pretty significant. Thats' four games the Patriots will need to try and win. Any other year this wouldn't mean that much but the AFC East has improved as a whole the Patriots aren't walk-away division winners.

Bradford wants out of Philadelphia. If I were Bradford and with all the money he's already made, I would absolutely take a pay cut to play on the Broncos that have weapons on offense and defense. This would be the ideal team to see if Bradford is the QB everyone thought he would be.
