As for Bradford, Eagles had/have put a high price tag on him so a trade isn't going to be likely or won't happen anytime soon.
That's the problem. Philly tied up 59 million (or something like that amount) in Bradford and Chase, why would they then trade their 2016 and 2017 draft picks for another quarterback? They can't have three main quarterbacks on the roster (and can they even afford to sign him now).

I think Chase Daniels is their best option for 2016. Bench Wentz and let him learn about being a NFL QB, start Daniels and unload injury prone (and over paid) Bradford

Edit:
Man, why am I not a GM in the NFL - I seem to know what to do :p

Thats definitely the right thing for them to do but its not that simple... How do you as a GM go to the team owner and say "Hey uuummm I know we just gave this guy an 11 Million signing bonus but we are going to have to eat that and trade him, is that ok?"

I think the jets selecting Hackenberg is a really nice move. I think he's shown to be a great quarterback. He regressed when they changed systems and coaches, but wasn't he running a pro level system under O'Brien? I think he may be a good project to help develop, Even if they sign Fitzpatrick, he's no spring chick (in terms of NFL age), and they'll need someone to step in, and we all no that's not Geno

I was unhappy with the pick last night because all I read about him was his big drop-off with little explanation. Now that I've had a chance to read up on him, I like the pick. The QB they drafted last year, Bryce Perry and Geno Smith are certainly not their future.

They need to sign Fitz for 2 years with guaranteed money and playoff bonuses and let Hack sit and learn. I don't like to see rookie QBs start.

Year 40-something waiting for my Namath replacement.

I've made peace with the fact that the Jets are not going to have a great franchise QB during my lifetime.... Forever in QB limbo :(

Looks like the Browns selected Kessler from USC and then proceeded to say he'll compete for the starting job. I think that's rather odd, and well be a bad mistake. Why not bench him and let me grow into what will be an NFL offense (though some could argue the Browns don't have an NFL offense ;) )

What's odd, given his numbers people were projecting him for the 4th or 5th, but he was selected on the 3rd round.

I think the Brown are cursed. Inept, but cursed.

Even though they said it, doubt that really happens. I see it more as putting everyone on the team on notice that no one is guaranteed or given anything, you have to work to earn your place on this team. From the outside looking in, we can all laugh and say "it's the Browns", but they're trying to change the culture there and I think it's a good move to do this rather than let RGIII think he has the starting position locked up because he's the most successful QB on that team.

Seattle showed the Tide some love by picking Jarran Reed.

Being picked in the second round is still really good but pre-draft hype had Jarran Reed and A'Shawn Robinson going in the first round. Reggie Ragland was borderline and then news broke that he had health issues so that caused his drop.

The article I read earlier said the level of play in the GFL wasn't even as good as DIV III. We'll see.

That's a significant difference in level of competition. The two players that I can think of from Division III ball that had/has some success in the NFL are Pierre Garcon and Cecil Shorts, two WR's!

Also, the thing I love about his story is that he didn't come for the money, he saw a YouTube video of Adrian Peterson and fell in love with the game of football and I just read that if was not drafted, he was going to sign with the Vikings. That really just shows that he wants to be there.

I'm with you! I want him to do well!

They Courts did not say Goodell was right, only that he didn't over step his authority. I still think Goodell is a idiot and his punishment did not fit the crime. It should have only been a one game suspension. Since it occurred during a playoff game, Brady should be suspended for one playoff game.;)

Any other sport and they would have been stripped of the championship.

Brady Gives up. Will sit out the first 4 games.

Brady had 90 days to petition the Supreme Court to hear his case. Instead, he will spend the first four weeks of the 2016 season on the bench, while back-up Jimmy Garappolo assumes the starting role in his place. The NFL Players Association could still appeal the case to the Supreme Court.

Finally. What annoyed me about his appeal was his reps said they weren't expecting anything to change and they knew Brady's suspension was going to be upheld. If they knew this, they should have just stopped instead of wasting time and resources that could have been used for other issues. If they were going to use the appeal as part of a process to go to the Supreme Court, I would understand but I don't think that was their plan given the circumstances of today's society and the various issues going on. This was just a waste of time by Brady and his camp. I'm glad we can finally put this to rest and we won't have to hear about this anymore.

No other sport would make up a scientifically-impossible fake controversy to try to railroad one of their stars and hurt their brand.

The NFLPA ****ed him. They had no chance of winning another appeal because of the way they argued the case.

Brady would have won in the last appeal if the NFLPA's lawyers argued the case based on the arbitration being fundamentally unfair. They could have trotted out all the physicists who have proven no deflation occurred to show Goodell did not fairly hear the case. It would have been a slam dunk.

But they didn't. Instead the PA's lawyers representing Brady tried to argue that Goodell didn't have the power to suspend Brady, despite the fact that the PA agreed to the CBA that gave him that power. They were trying to use the court to set a precedent to override that part of the CBA. The judges saw through this and ruled against them for this reason. It's right in the last appeals court ruling. The judges essentially said it wasn't their job to re-write the CBA and that the NFLPA shouldn't have made a **** deal to begin with.

So, at the end of the day, science proved Brady was innocent, yet he still got railroaded by both the NFL and the Players Association as the PA cared more about trying to fix their **** deal from the last CBA than actually prove Brady's innocence.
