2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

Did you order on Website? I order on the Apple Store app on my phone right after the keynote, it was available 5 to 10 minutes before the website was back, and I haven't been charged either same configuration.
You know, I swore I was going to wait patiently for this, but it's my first new portable in almost 5 years.
So here I sit, hitting refresh on the Deliveries app like a lab rat pressing a bar to get a food pellet. :-/

Yeah, I ordered via the Apple Store app on my iPhone. I wonder why our orders are seemingly being put lower than everyone else's?

I have an identical order 6min before yours and was charged earlier today. Ping me when you get charged as I'm curious how long it takes them to get through 6min of orders.
Bit of a saga... Cancelled my 13" TouchBar order and picked up a BTO Retina MacBook... Which I was delighted with but has been problematic to say the least, so took it back today and due to a lack of stock I picked up a new non-TouchBar 13" MBP instead.
So I've ended up with a new MBP, just a slightly different model to the one I'd planned. I use my laptop in clamshell mode with a big monitor a lot so the touchbar would kind of be wasted a lot of the time.

That cant be true.....for me in HK, shipping is overnight. I was charged yesterday lunchtime, so would have received it today if it was the case.....and no i haven't received it and i'm still "processing".
I have no doubt they are building and charging as they go, when they have enough for a batch then they will be sent out, and i expect that to be within 24-48 hours. Maybe they are sending some units ahead for distro in Europe and US.
Hmmmm, I'm not sure all those guys on the Apple chat truly knows what is going on. Some might just be reading from an internal Q&A which might not be the most precise information on this launch.
Some things seems a bit out of whack. People get charged a bit random according to the time they have placed an order, and there is no status changes at all yet. Us in the EU has not been charged at all, but I'm not sure they are allowed to do that before the items has actually shipped out of the factory. There might be some difference in charge timing between EU, US and the rest of the world.
It is a bit messy right now, that is all we know. Well, we also know that something is happening, but I really want to see a Prepare to Ship or a Shipping status change before I allow myself to get excited.

Yes the wait is killing me, thinking if I should save ~£900 and just get the base model and skip the 13" touch bar :S. Really wish reviews were out by now, would have made my mind up by now!

Still no charge...confirmation email was at 11:42PDT after the keynote. But my delivery estimate is 24-30 so Apple has a lot of time I guess. 15" BTO to Canada.
But I did get a "Your order has shipped" email from Apple this morning....however that was unfortunately for the calendars I ordered...LOL
