Is there a way to upload the photo directly to the site? Or do I have to upload it to a photo host?
Either way, my order is for a non-touch, so that could be the reason why it's moving quicker.

No I'm super bummed, I ordered stock 15-inch on the website about 10 minutes after it was back up. Online, shipping to US. No charge or anything yet.
Edit: the only thing I noticed that was different this morning is that my $1 pre authorization went away hmmm

My card now has an authorization! I woke up and checked and saw the authorization for the full amount of the computer! MBP 13, 2.9 GHZ, 16GB, 512gb

That's strange. You have one of the earliest orders I've seen and yet have a delivery estimate later then anyone that's ordered the same day as the keynote.

I have the same config but the 3.1 processor. No charge yet and I ordered within minutes of the keynote ending. I don't think I've seen anyone with my configuration get charged yet.
Yours gives me some hope.

Don't know yet. All that happened was my card was hit and it's a pending charge. It hasn't gone into Preparing for Shipment.

Same exact configuration as you, MBPt 13", 3.1 GHZ, 16GB, 512GB. And in Space Gray if that matters. I got charged about 3 hours ago so Apple will probably take your money soon.
I'm still in an authorization status from my AMEX card as of 11/04/2016, and still in a processing order status on Apple.com.

And it doesn't help that my dGPU on my 2012 is dead and causes the system to hang. While I was in the waiting thread I was excited as my machine was strong, but dated, which put value in the new ones. Now it's dead after just 4.5 years. Makes me question the dGPU of the new one. Also pretty distraught as I plan on selling mine after I get the new one and now I lost all that value. SMH :-(
IN looking over the spreadsheet, the best anyone in Canada got was 21-25 of Nov even ordering right after the keynote. This is because ours come with the US into the US and then have to go back across the border, clear customs and on to Canadian destinations. Apple has added 4 days for that process over the similar timeframe 17-X US orders. In my case I live up by Alaska and if Apple uses UPS it is the only carrier that won't fly stuff to me so that adds another 3 days on the truck over most Canadians living in the big cities next to the US border. So that is why I think my delivery estimate is so poor. I've seen it before when ordering iPhones and my last 2012 rMBP and my 2015 rMB. The price I pay to live in clean air🙂

I ordered it 2 hours after the event and shipping said 21-25 november and store pickup said 25 november. I chose store pickup. My card has not been charged with the amount yet, but when I called apple yesterday the person said my card had been authorized for the full amount, is that the same thing ?
Do you guys know if store pickup is any different from regular shipping ? Do I have chances of seeing mine earlier ?

Seeing the pattern develop since yesterday it looks like Apple is slowly going through all the earliest orders and charging cards as the laptop is assigned to the individual. However, in most cases we would be seeing P4S status quickly after the charges. But so far we haven't seen any for the BTO touchbar ones. This tells me that those of us who ordered very early and still haven't had a charge should not worry yet. Apple must be building up for a large shipment later this week. Likely all of us who ordered within an hour or maybe more after the keynote will all end up on the same plane later this week. For the next day or so we will all eventually get hit by the charge and then everyone will start seeing the P4S change.
This is my optimistic view on things and digging into my memories of this same situation from 2012 with the first rMBP, I remember a very similar situation. People will see others getting charges and P4S even though they ordered after them. But in the end it should all work out.

My guess is that your store one will come on the same shipment as the non-store ones. But that is a guess. You are in the earliest Canadian BTO window that I've seen on the spreadsheet. You should get it in the first batch. That same first batch is the dates of 17-25 in the US. If you live close to the US border and customs is quick you could see it earlier than the 21st even. Apple is basically giving a 4 day window to cover moving it from the US to Can but it won't always take that long in my experience.
