So, how do we indicate that we want to pick it up at our customer center? Mine is only 15 minutes drive from my house.
UPS.com. Find your tracking number and specify that you want to pick it up. You'll see a list of places in your area. Make sure you pick the customer center where your package will be and not an arbitrary store or you might have to wait an additional day or two.

Card was charged an hour ago. 13" touch bar i7 1T 16G space gray. Yippee! Ordered late morning on the first day, shipping date was 17-25Nov. Order still shows as 'processing'.

I still haven't gotten charged. I have the November 15-22 window in California. I got a stock 13" with touch bar. I guess the stock ones are already built so they don't need to put an authorization until they ship from facilities closer to the us.

Has anyone seen Apple giving tracking numbers from China before?
Could also be that the macs are already in the country and they will ship from here. I ordered an adapter from Apple and it was scan here in the US but I'm certain that it was made in china.
My last several iPhones and my 2012 rMBP I tracked all the way from China.

I think this is a possible reason; I'm not sure. I have a 15" stock model on order and no charge for me. At least on here, there isn't anyone who ordered a stock model (13 or 15) that has been charged.

I'm going to hazard a guess that tomorrow 11/9 some people will show their order as PSF or Shipped.

Do Apple historically send to the US first, then EU afterwards? Or is that random? Just trying to figure out why no one from EU has gotten their credit cards hit yet.

Haven't been charged yet. EU orders are usually being sent out from a warehouse in Europe so they don't need to charge the card that early. Only a day or two before shipment.

for those who ended up having theres rejected by there credit card company should i still see a pending charge on my account if this is the case?

I think the Macbooks will arrive as planned. Only a few will get it on Friday. There are no charged "stock" customers, so they will be shipping by end of the week to be delivered on 15/16/17.

As i remember, delivery on Friday means that some have already P2S. But this is worldwide not the case! So we will get them early next week.

Yeah, but do you think that works the same way with our BTO MacBook Pro's? Not sure they have many of my config with Danish keyboard, Silver, and other crazy stuff! :p

Not sure, they may ship all EU orders from China to a Warehouse in Europe and then just ship them all out.

I have ordered a stock model and my delivery date is Oct 23-30. Not sure if I'll get it before the 23th...

When mine was rejected (Wells Fargo) I got a text message and email from apple. Nothing from my bank, but when I went online my account had a big message telling me that it was locked due to suspicious behavior. Called the bank to clear the hold and explain the charge. Couple minutes later went online to the Apple Store and just had to push a button to re-charge the card. This time it went through, showed up right away as a "temporary authorization".

As others have noted, the recent card authorizations likely reflect that all these MBPs (BTO and stock) are about to go into production. My guess is that we will see a trickle of orders move into PFS this week, with the bulk of early orders reaching that status early next week. Actually, that seems pretty obvious. But I don't think many people are going to be on the early side of the 2-3 week range Apple originally stated when ordering. Almost everyone will be closer to 3 weeks.

Well three years ago my BTO rMBP came directly from China, too. You could even track the flight it was on. I think it even had a scan in Azerbaijan.

edit: Germany here, 3-4 weeks.

BTW, lots of people going for the 460 GPU upgrade. I can almost hear someone in the back of the factory in China yelling: "Hey! We're out of 460's over here! And then several echoes "The same here! 460 no more!"
