No one who ordered the stock models has been charged. I've been anxiously waiting myself. Someone suggested it could be because ours would ship domestically (instead of from China) so we won't see the charge until a day or two before delivery.

It may also be that BTO orders are charged/pre-authed ahead of production. I'm sure Apple can still sell BTO models. There's not that many options and combinations, there's almost certainly hundreds of people buying the same config. Nevertheless, it makes sense that BTO orders are charged a bit earlier. It may even be that BTO orders arrive after stock orders, despite being first to be charged.

Has anyone with a base model gotten charged? Or just BTO?
Like many people here, I haven't been charged and I'm getting paranoid.
I have base model and haven't been charged, only BTO's I think. Don't get paranoid, like everyone has said, BTO's are getting charged because they have to start building them now. I'm sure all will be shipped at the same time.

I just noticed that the name of my MacBook Pro product changed from "13" MacBook Pro" to "13" MacBook Pro – Space Grau". Hopefully that's a good sign!

the one i have looks like this.....

https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Free...440&sr=8-2&keywords=seagate+go+agent+flex+mac

any that work with this one on amazon?
Hmm ok, little trickier for that one. Does yours have a removable cable like this photo? http://www.technogog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/goflex8.jpg

If it's detachable like that, then the same cable I linked in the previous post earlier should work (mini-USB to USB-C)

If the cable is not detachable then it seems the best option is a small adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Female...4E4KGQMCKSM227RP0&ie=UTF8&qid=1478637673&sr=2

That's the sign of them realizing that they haven't stated the color obvious enough for everyone before. They probably got many desperate phone calls and emails

I wouldn't read too much into it - most likely just the product name localisations being updated. It seems like only English-language orders stated the colour up until now. :)

I really hope they have the extension cord in the box along with the macbooks. I've ordered the 15", and once seeing this, i realized they skimped on it with the 13" MBPs without the touchbar!
They don't have extension cords unfortunately, as per the "in the box" section on the Apple site. :(

They don't. We already know exactly what comes in the box based on the fact that Apple has stated exactly what comes in the box.

I'm in Europe and like the rest awaiting to be charged - weird we're actually awaiting impatiently for someone to take our money - (here comes the 'Take My Money' tags), but judging from the past; here's what happend to me. If you opted to the auto enroll Apple Care, you will first get an email from Apple with your certificate, meaning your MacBook Pro has been earmarked, and you even get the serial number. That's been my first giveaway in the past, prior my CC even haven been charged (my CC was 'reserved' for the amount of the Apple Care on the day I ordered already).

I don't know if Apple has changed their logistics over the past year, but most western Europeans will find their MacBook go to depot in Eindhoven in Holland (custom cleared for entrance to the EU done in huge batches), and from there be distributed throughout W. Europe. In the past I've been able to trace the actual flight from Shanghai (mostly) to Europe on Flightradar24, and seen pictures of hyperventilating and hysterical hyped new owners, tracking their new Mac (yeeaahh.. I've done that too).

Isn't the wait and anticipation part of the journey and utter joy? :D

Negative. They no longer include the extension with these new computers.

Its not included. Thats why I exchanged a USB-c adapter for the extension cable before Apple did the price adjustments on adapters. Worked out to where they ate the difference of the extension.

I can't remember the exactly video, but I'm seeing that the extension cord for the power outlet actually is in the box, but it's under the plastic part. You basically have to cut it out. I can't verify this yet though.
