Just had a word with a customer rep. My delivery date is 16th-23rd Nov. As per him, my order will be shipped on or before 14th. Fingers crossed.

Same here but obviously just a pre-authorisation.

Why people don't understand that Apple rep. know nothing about delivery times? It's not useful to ask them about your delivery times...

I ordered the early 2013 model the day it was made available and it was manufactured and shipped as single item from China (HongKong, Kazachstan, Germany). Just as a FYI for all these 'european warehouse' followers. It's not necessarily the case
Was the same for me for the rMBP in 2012 but the Watch shipped from their warehouse in Prague last year.

Hi

This was the same for my 2015 rMB. Ordered within 10 mins of availability and took ages to arrive. But did follow it on the plane from China - S Korea - Kaz - Poland - Germany - UK. Took 6 to 7 days in total I seem to remember. It spend 48 to 72 hours in China & S. Korea. I guess waiting for more stock to arrive

Weird i'm in November range and still no pre-auth and I check ALL_THE_TIME xD

Me too... like around 20 times a day... Still have money in my acc. Although, strangely, Apple seemed to charge my debit card on the day I ordered and it reappeared in my acc a few days back... Still says Processing Items in the store. :(

My delivery range is from 11 (tomorrow) to the 18th. Haven't had any charge for base model yet. Though in UK. I think they will be in the U.K. Now and will dispatch tonight for delivery tomorrow.

Just ordered myself a 13´MBP with touch bar. Delivery says 4-5 weeks. Im hopping Apple stays true to its tradition of exaggerating the estimated delivery time. In my experience 4-5 weeks means 3-4 weeks.

Looked at the calendar today and just realized it will be exactly one month at the earliest when my mbp gets delivered :(

Could be that BestBuy has a deal to buy X computers from apple and they haven't received that many orders yet.

Very unlikely. In past releases, Best Buy has had a shipping estimate quite similar with that of Apple. And most people like to purchase their products at Best Buy, as they do get 45 days to return if they are a prime member.

I actually think it is exactly what Aaron said. They agree to buy "x" amount of initial stock, and I am sure it is a very large number. Apple fulfills that first and then takes care of their preorders and stores. It makes sense to take care of a guaranteed sale first.

If stock is sufficient Apple first wave orders and Best Buy orders should arrive at the same time. The problem with the rMB was supply was so slow they all went to best buy

Even though I would really like that ... I don't think that will happen ... we probably should have seen more movement on other orders if they are already shipped to U.K./EU

I really hope they start moving soon...my estimate is 16-23 November. No movement at all :-(

Not sure how important this is, but http://www.very.co.uk have the new touchbar models for preorder and delivery before 6th December. Could this be when the apple stores will have stock too?

P.S. I still haven't had any charge, movement, or even a £1 authorisation on my stock 13" TB SG which was ordered 5 mins after the store came back online. 25th-2nd delivery estimate.

Another day another no charge. **** my excitement about these macs is fading and I'm starting to get annoyed.

How about you step away from this thread for a few days and just sit it out? I mean, they actually gave a certain delivery window and there's no reason to actually believe they're gonna deliver much earlier.

I KNOW how impatient you can get when you order something new that you're looking forward to, but ... geez.. don't make it harder for yourself. :D

So can you ask Apple online to change your order without cancelling? Im thinking about getting the 460 gpu instead but i dont want my delivery date to slip even later

From what I know, they will cancel the order and ask you to re order which obviously means your dates will slip.

With my original Apple Watch I didn't see any movements until the day before delivery, the only reason I knew it was coming was because of My Choice UPS. I got the Apple Shipping Confirmation the day of. I was charged on my credit card at the beginning of the week. I think this is what we are seeing again. My Thunderbolt 3 > 2 adapter will be here tomorrow via Fedex. We will see what else may show up in the next couple of days.

So you are getting annoyed, because they haven't charged you before its due to ship yet.

Give me you Credit Card details and ill make some charges:)

Really....if you have a estimated delivery date from Apple, then expect it to be a few days before then, it doesn't matter when they charge you, it's when they let you know its been sent with the tracking details that matter.

Apple has given me a delivery date of 15th to the 22th November... guess what, I'm expecting to to be between those dates it gets delivered......

It's just a damm laptop, go and play with your current Macbook Pro until it arrives.
