Mine's dispatched now too. Shipping from Netherlands via DHL. Anyone have any idea how long that would take?

I have a question not about shipping because it seems like no luck for me to get it earlier :(

(my delivery window Dec 7th - 14th)
13-inch MacBook Pro with touch bar - Space Gray

Configuration
  • 3.1GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • Intel Iris Graphics 550
  • 512GB PCIe-based SSD
Anyone has ordered or know any good case for 13" MBP with touch bar?
the computers jsut came out and you think theres a case out for it already? LOLOLOL

I have to update the Spreadsheet and remove my order....

After reading posts about people saying Apple Stores had stock, I decided to go see if my local Chandler, AZ store had one. Sure enough! They had exactly what I was waiting for. Online order is now cancelled.... I now have my 15" Silver MacBook Pro / 512Gb / 2.7 / Touch Bar in my hands as I type this on my old mac. :)

It's actually not that unreasonable. Lots of case manufacturers have cases ready on day one for new iPhones too. They are either given advance dimensions (big companies like Belkin who Apple carries in their own stores), or they just take dimensions for part leaks and hope for the best. And Apple doesn't just send review units, they also send units to accessory makers. For example, I e-mailed Startech a while back to ask about compatibility and they said they were "currently testing" with the new MBP; and this was a week before anyone had theirs.

So it's not too crazy to think that there could be companies already shipping or at least accepting pre-orders on cases. There's incentive to be first-to-market with some of this stuff; so these companies have learned how to turnaround a product QUICK.

Just picked up a fully loaded BTO except 1TB instead of 2TB SSD at the Colorado Springs Apple store. They offer lyrics got 2 fully loaded models. One in space gray and one in silver. Looks like their are some out there in the wild, call your local store before you wait weeks to get it.

Also, the Apple employee I got on the phone first told me they don't stock BTO options in story so I had to tell her to call the store anyway to verify and sure enough, they had them.

New Zealand based. I ordered about 14 hours after the announcement, so still on the day of the announcement New Zealand time (28 October). 15" MacBook Pro, 2.7GHz i7, 16Gb, 1Tb, Radeon 460.

From the outset, reported as Ships 3-4 weeks, and Delivers 21/11/2016 – 29/11/2016 by Standard Shipping. At this stage, still in "Processing Items" as it has been since day one.

In my experience, orders here often only go "Preparing for Shipment" and then "Out for delivery" over just 24 hours... so they are already in Sydney before there is any kind of indication that anything has been done on an order. So who knows, might still arrive Monday 21 November. Sure would be nice to know. :)

Did you get the discounted pricing?

Yes, but Amazon doesn't have the new Macbooks period. It's not like they're delaying because of the pricing issue (or maybe Apple is mad they are selling it for lower price and isn't shipping to them? Who knows).

Well someone may move up on the list now.

I had a 15" MacBook Pro 2.9GHz/1TB/460 on order and I found it in a local store.

This is going to be a long day as it is already paid for now and waiting for me to pick it up.

It's been fun on this thread and I hope you all get your new MacBooks soon!
Where did you find it?! I'm calling apple stores but they keep telling me to check online.

Got one at the Boylston location in Boston!!! Canceled online order so hopefully that'll help someone.

13 inch base with touch bar

I found it at the Apple Stores in Pittsburgh PA.

Man, all the Apple stores around here say "Available Dec. 30th" for the model I want :(

Go into the store and ask them to go verify inventory politely. A lot of stores have BTOs in stock.

That's what I've seen on the nearest store for me too but someone on this thread bought from that same store I am looking at and they had a 15" in stock. You may just need to call and ask to speak with the manager or even make a trip up there.

My TV is tuned to my front door security camera.

Dear UPS Man, I am ready.
