My order status is showing "unknown errors" as well. Hope it's gonna be an early shipment like some other folks guessed. I cancelled my original order of 13" MacBook Pro because I only selected 8gb of ram back then. After that I realized there's no going back as the rams are soldered on board so I went ahead and cancelled it then placed a second one with 16gb of ram.

I just checked my order (ordered on 10/27). It's not down for me... hopefully that's not a bad sign that it won't be shipping. The waiting game begins!

I ordered mine today, 15" 2nd level preconfigured option with no additional upgrades. It said shipping was 4-5 weeks, delivers 12/8-12/14.

Maybe we should add a column in the spreadsheet to allow people to specify an estimated delivery date change.

Guys, :)
you need to help me out once again.

It seems like I am the only one, who went with the Radeon 450 with (only) 2GB VRAM.
Why is that? Can some of you explain their choice. Is there anything wrong with the 450?
I currently use the Dell XPS 15 9530 with an Nvidia GPU (also 2GB VRAM) and i never felt, it was not enough.
So why is everyone ramping up for the top end GPU?

Thanks

Looking through the spreadsheet, a good number of people selected the 2nd level preconfigured option (2.7ghz). From there it's only a $100 bump to go from the 455 to the 460. There are very few 455's listed. Maybe I should have opted to up the video option as well...

Well it's taken nearly a week but I've finally remember my macrumors login!

Ordered the 13" base model with touch bar in space grey in the UK within 30 mins of the store going live (hate the pricing but my 2008 unibody screen is dead so needs must ).

Estimated delivery window is 24/11-1/12

You are not the only one. I'm not using my computer for work so that's one thing, the other was the price for me. We are a small bunch that has the 450 2 GB VRAM. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about ;)

I've ordered the 15' 10 minutes after the presentation, and my BTO (upgraded to 512GB on the Base) "order" is also processing with an estimated delivery from Nov. 16-23. Germany.

I really hope we will see shipments at the end of the week, I honestly can't wait for my first MacBook :)

I mean, they said 2-3 weeks, and the second week would start Thursday :D

Ahhh, i see. :) Thanks for pointing that out.

Of course I am not the only one, but it pretty much felt like that. ;)
I really hope these machines are fine and will serve our needs for the coming years.

Btw. yesterday I went into an electronic store and tried out the keyboard of the 12" Macbook. I can now understand the hateful posts around here. But I have to get used to the new one. :p

Yea, my order page isn't showing either (just the "We're Sorry, try again later"). I'll call in the morning, but I'm going to be so pissed if the shipping date slipped. Although I guess they won't do anything about it because it was never guaranteed?

Edit: Also, I have a question. DO they only charge the full amount when it's shipped? I only got a $1 charge (hold, I guess) on my Amex and it doesn't show on my Amex account.

That was just an authorization charge. They will place the full charge when the status of your order changes to preparing for shipment. :)

Same here, status is available and unchanged (delivery 16-23 November).

By the way: asked my employer if there was a reservation on his Creditcard, but this was not the case.

Called apple and they've told me that they place a reservation for the amount a few days before shipping/delivery. Once delivered they will place the actual payment.
