Okay I'm right there with you buddy. It is comforting to know someone else is sharing in this anticipation/worry!

I'm here with you too. Ordered Nov 4th.
My last day of estimates is 15th (I have 2-3 days shipping) and according to Apple I will receive my machine on time (I spoke with them an hour ago).
Card charged since Thursday morning.
Status: processing.
Delivery to US.

Same boat here. Processing hell. Card charged 12/8 STS date of 12/21. Hoping it's here by end of this coming week.

@charchar25 Any updates on your order yet? I just called my credit card company to let them know there would be a big transaction, they said the transaction is already listed, it's just on hold. That was on the 7th. Fingers crossed we see movement at a similar time as we have the same spec.

So strange to see a lot of us waiting since we placed orders early Nov while others from mid-late November are already shipped... Seems like there is a 2nd factory working in parallel now who is quicker than the other. Or is it one certain hardware thing which is less available, a certain keyboard or anything?
I placed my order on Nov 5th for the SG 15/2.6/512/460 and no change yet (still in processing) although the delivery window is starting tomorrow (Dec 12-16). Contacted customer support by mail now asking what's going on with my order... Hopefully they respond quicker than processing the order

I notice that my card shows less available credit, by the value of the machine, but nothing else. No charge registered on the card, no email from Apple, still processing. I think the change in available credit happened around Nov 27. That's what an Apple rep told me when I called them a week ago. Apple website still showing delivery Dec 12-16, same since Nov 4 order date. Just impatiently waiting, hoping the battery life thing is solved by the time I get it.
I've called Apple twice so far. First time they offered me a free InCase sleeve for being patient I guess. Second time, they upgraded delivery method to expedited or something. Maybe if I call a third time they finally send the MBP?

Did you order for delivery to your home or pick up from the store?

Got a text and an email from Apple this morning, saying product is ready to ship, however my bank declined the transaction.

So I called my bank here in New Zealand, they said Visa debit can only go as high as $5000 for purchases, per day. And the laptop is $5889. So what they suggested is, call Apple and ask them to split the transaction into two (5000 one day, rest of it next day), or get Apple's bank account number and do a bank transfer or something like that through my online e-banking profile, as the limit is much higher.

Called Apple, but only got through to tech support, lady was kind enough to open a case number but have to call tomorrow again, as the Apple online store doesn't work Sundays. (or at least their billing dept)

Order made 16 Nov, email received this morning (11 Dec). Original delivery window is 19-23 Dec. 15" SG, 2.9/1TB/460.

I doubt apple would allow their ordering system to have multiple forms of tender even if you got though to a sympathetic CSR.

You will probably have to get a real credit card with a higher daily limit than $5889.00

good luck.

Whoa, I stand corrected!
Looks like Apple and FedEx will pull through and I'll get my machine tomorrow! That means this'll be my last time on the chat... until the next release

For those interested, I ordered:
2.9 - 1TB - 455 space gray on 11/05/16
Original delivery estimate: December 14-20

Good luck to you all! I know it'll be worth it

Congrats! Just checked the flight mine is on and it's almost landing in Sacramento so I'll also get it tomorrow. Two days before my delivery range. Enjoy your new MBP!

Dang! I'm jelly! Mine is still sitting in processing with no movement other than the authorization 3 days ago. :(

Still processing. I'm really beginning to think they will miss the delivery window for my unit of December 12-16. The charge has now cleared, but the order is still just processing. Just wish they could give better updates, it's just frustrating, especially with a product with as many mixed reviews as there have been.

About how many days has been taking from being marked as shipped to getting finally delivered?

Mine shipped Tuesday and is now the local terminal for delivery tomorrow. So about 6 days for me. It was not expedited shipping (fedex economy)

I ordered my MacBook pro on multiple cards. They have an option add another card and split funds in the checkout :)

Well, the wonderful people at Apple actually helped me out with this, so they made one charge today for $4000, then doing another for $1889 tomorrow, and my laptop will be on its way ;)
