2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

Finally my MPB got shipped however the tracking number doesnt work on TNT:s tracking page. Its an 11 digit number but it says TNT:s numbers are always 9 digits. Any ideas?

My tracking number for the iPhone 7 worked just fine on the TNT page...
 
From my experience, it's mostly futile to call Apple and ask about your delayed MacBook Pro order. They don't seem to have access to anything other than your order status. They are trained to tell you it will ship when your order says it will. I highly doubt any of them know what's going on overseas at Foxconn.

Has anyone's 15" MBP shipped in the past several days? It seems like tons of people are stuck with pending credit card transactions and orders still in "Processing". The 13" models seem to be shipping ahead of schedule.

Ordered on 5.11! Status still "Order is being processed"! Apple CS phone not reachable - try it later - that ran so all day ...
Such a crap I had with Apple never. Is there still another way to contact the CS?

I've been keeping an eye on the Apple retail store MacBook stock using this tool: http://www.istocknow.com/live/

Last Friday (Dec 9th) there was an influx of 15" MacBook Pros and nearly every Apple Store nationwide had them in stock. This could mean that Apple put most of their effort into restocking the stores and that's why the built-to-order machines have been really slow to ship.

It's been about 10 days since Apple changed their website to promise 2-3 week shipping on new 15" models, and that two weeks starts this week. So something drastic will have to happen this week if Apple is going to suddenly get caught up on an entire month's worth of orders.

Here's hoping we see a ton of shipping in the next day or two!

Yes. I experienced the same thing. I called and asked an Apple Specialist and was assured it would be delivered during the estimated delivery window (Dec 14-20). I ordered on Nov 6. 15"/2.6/1TB/460.
 
Just spoke to an Apple advisor, and got this very worrying reply.

Apparently the whole heatsink was replaced :(

Did you return your MBP? Or is this one that was still pending? This whole this is annoying because people that preordered are waiting, while both stock 15 inch MBPs are in stock are two Apple stores around me. I am really wondering if the 460 is the cause for the delay.

It is my order for the 15 inch MBP with 460, which was placed on the 4th Nov.

My order has been updated to 'Express' now at least. Originally it was due 14-20, now 13-19.

I ordered the same computer on the same day and am stuck in the same spot. I'm assuming you ordered space gray?
 
I'm really wondering if it's the space grey color delaying it. My 15" silver with 460 is out for delivery today. Ordered 11/7 with 14-20th expected delivery range. Sorry for all waiting still. It's maddening I know.
 
I ordered 15"/Space Gray/2.6/1TB/460 on November 6 with an estimated 4-5 shipping and a Dec 14-20 delivery date. It has now been over 5 weeks (as of last night) since the order date.

I recall someone early saying to drop either the first 2 or last 2 digits.
 
Strange things are happening.
I received feedback from customer support as I wondered what's going on with my Nov 5th ordered 15"/2.6/512/460 SG.
CS told me in not real fluent German that all is within the delivery window. My paypal account was authorized on Dec 5th... BUT my status remains unchanged ("processing"). For some reason the delivery window now changed to Dec 9 (!!!) - 15 and expedited shipping - previously I had Dec 12-16 with standard shipping.
 
Mine was just delivered and.....it has the scratch below the speaker that others have posted about. Ahhhhhhh. I may cry.
 
Anyone have an idea how long it takes for MBP to ship from China to be delivered in the Eastern US? I'm currently P4S and will likely go to ship in the next 48 hours. I'm trying to figure out if there's a realistic chance of my order being delivered this week.
